Waiters good but overly relaxed. Pizza overpriced and weighed down with too much topping. Medium cheese starts at $18/plus. $2.50 per topping. $25.50 for a 3 topping pizza. Efforts to make it right were forthcoming with helpful attitude. Just werent able to improve quality.Seems Gay 90's is well past it's prime even though business doesn't seem to be suffering. No... That's right, these guys got two main assets - a great pizza recipe which is quite good and distinct. And they also got an old house with some creepy history. So they are doing all the steps you'd expect to monetize them. They keep the house creepy and looking old. It's dark, cramped, looks like a dungeon and filled with... More

Ate lunch here. We had the antipasta salad, and pepperoni pizza. We shared the salad, very fresh with lots of stuff in it. The pizza crust was delicious, sourdough. The sauce was tomato with a taste of herbs. We liked it a lot and would eat here again.

I claim that Gay 90's has the best pizza in the east bay, but frankly, I have never had better pizza anywhere in the country. Their pizza crust is perfect, and when you order a thin crust pizza you get a crust that is almost cracker thin and crisp that beats any I have ever had, and I have eaten... More

Gay 90's Pizza has been around for years and there's a reason. It's part of the fabric of Pleasanton by now. Food is delicious. Prices reasonable. Atmosphere fun. Can't go wrong. Great place for a family birthday dinner.

Wow! In town for business, craving pizza so we loaded up and headed to Gay 90's. Pizza was incredible and the atmosphere was fun. Will definitely visit again next time I'm in Pleasanton.

This is hands down my favorite Pizza place in the Bay Area. It is in an old historic building which has the reputation of being haunted for many years. Check out the antique mirror in the front room, if you look carefully, you can see the word "Boo" in the glass. The pizza is excellent and the salads generously portioned.... More

We've been going to Gay 90's for 25 or 30 years. The only place in Pleasanton even close to the high quality of their pizza is the sausage and pepperoni pie from Pastas on Main Streeet. However is still second to Gay 90's. If you like a combo pie try the Gay 90's Franks Special. Great toppings and a killer... More

We hadn't been here in a while so we stopped in to try again. Pizza was good, stay with that. We got an order of calamari and it obviously came from their food supplier frozen. It looked more like breaded onion rings with little or no flavor. I was suprised at the bill, it seemed high for what we got.
