Food is good and eclectic atmosphere

Great food, a little expensive but for a special occasion a definite. This place cam recommended when we first moved to Pleasanton. We eat here a few times a year and it is always good. Nice seating and good menu selections. Filet mignon was exceptional. Ravioli is good, but excessive sauce Deserts are well prepared. Disappointed no mussels, but they compensatedon't by buying me a drink, so I was pleased. Lots if places to eat in area, but this one is exceptional.

This small venue was recommended by a friend. We sat at the 4 person bar because the place was packed when we arrived reservationless. The bar keep became our waitress and suggested the Thor plate. It consists of herring 3 ways plus smoked salmon - all prepared in house, all absolutely amazing. The portions are generous. We easily filled 3... More

Downtown Pleasanton. Eat in or out. Had the salmon sandwich with soup. Loved the sandwich with bacon but will try without bacon next time as it overpowers the salmon. Atmosphere great, clean, good service, food presented well, prices average. Would recommend and will go again.

The folks at Nonni's are simply wonderful. Really friendly and helpful. I had a dish of mussels that was yummy and our appetizer was some smoked salmon over greens. We had a great bottle of Tempranillo that was really great. My husband had the wild boar sausage dish and he really liked it. We sat outside and it was really... More

Always a bit eclectic, this restaurant is great for those who like fresh, flavorful and creatively prepared fare. Expect nothing run of the mill. The soups are always delicious, the salads well-dressed to perfection and the choice of sandwiches and other entrees will have you coming back for further exploration.

I went with my nieces for Sunday brunch. Nonni was buzzing and almost full. The service was good. But the food very average. My latte was lukewarm and as a vegetarian, they had no choice for brunch as I do not take eggs and had to have a sandwich from their lunch menu. My nieces meals was also just average.... More

The food was good, not great. I did not care for the ambience. We were stuck in a dark corner. Our waitress was outstanding. Seemed to be more of a family venue than a quiet place for couples to go.

We decided to eat out on Christmas eve. We made reservations a few days in advance for the only time available 8pm. Our entrees were salmon, steak, lamb and chicken. All were excellent! The steak was cooked perfectly and the fries that came with it were the best I've ever had- light, not greasy; the lamb was tender with perfect... More
