Great place to celebrate

We had a family birthday party. There was a great kids menu plus a sophisticated menu for the adults. There were 10 of us including 3 children and 1 toddler. Everyone was happy with the restaurant.

The family style salad was delicious with plenty for those who also wanted it with their entrees. All 5 of us had different entrees & each thought theirs was the best. Portions were generous which made for a nice lunch the next day. It's very pleasant to go to a restaurant that is quiet enough that friends can eat, talk... More

This has become the hot place in town for brunch, so plan on standing in line, as they don't take reservations. The menu is creative and has a full range of options. The service is fast and efficient. The food is excellent. They have a very pleasant outdoor seating area.

Lovely little bistro in downtown! We were greeted warmly and given a quiet booth in the back, as requested. Provided nice lemon/mint infused water and a basket of rosemary rolls with butter, shaped in the form of a rose! My mother had French onion soup and a lovely goat-cheese crepe with a salad (which she loved!), I had a Fresh... More

My wife and I had lunch here last Tuesday. I had the SBLT - smoked salmon bacon lettuce and tomato sandwich with the soup of the day (cilantro cauliflower) for $15 and my wife had the Fontina Melt with side salad for $12. As is normal for us, we split the two entrées, the soup and the salad. Everything we... More

The saying "you can't judge a book by its cover" fits this establishment to a "T" Although it is not of great size, the food is its expanse. Delicious dishes served here. Right in the heart of Pleasanton on Main Street. Enjoy! As an added note, I believe the Chef has travelled the world - land and sea, and he... More

Have eaten there for Lunch and Dinner, for just a quick meal or a Special Occasion with Friends. The service is outstanding and the food beyond comparison. The wine and drinks are also excellent. The Hors d'oeuvres are a meal in themselves. And the desserts are amazing. It is so much better than the competition that when we go downtown,... More

You can always count on great food at nonni's with great service. Chef/Owner Jan Magnussen does an excellent job and always has a wonderful Christmas spread.

A little gem in downtown Pleasanton. The food is simly wonderful! Portion size is more that I expected and taste far better than I expected. The restaurant does not seat a lot of people, and at times the people in there can be loud, but but the reason you always see people in there is because the food is really... More

The iced smoked salmon was excellent. My flat iron steak was cooked exactly like I ordered. It was tender and every bite was savory. They have a very good wine selection. To be honest, the marzipan dessert was not good, but the creme brulee was excellent. I will be back.
