I'm a long time customer of Jims, usually breakfast. They have mastered the art of hash browns and seem to pass it on to other cooks. Their gravy is the best in five states. Portions are generous. The only time when there is a wait is Sunday morning from 9:00 to 11:00 AM.

To quoth Vin Scully--“This is, without a doubt, the best breakfast place you’ll find, for this price range”… The art of making hash browns cooked all the way through, without burning them is mastered here---and you better be hungry, cuz the portion is generous… Killer omelettes---try the Cubbie omelette: It’s not on the menu, you have to ask for it…... My friends and I went to breakfast here and it was absolutely delicious. The menu offers just the right amount of options. I had the Sue omelet and it was excellent! My hubby ordered the chicken fried steak with a side of their biscuits and gravy and it was delicious. We live in the south so we've had our fair... More

A nice restaurant just outside of downtown Pleasanton. I have only eaten breakfast here, and it was always good quality. Very good omelets (lots of choices or you can build your own) The staff is friendly. Definitely recommended!

Nice, friendly diner. It can get busy but it's a popular place. I like that it's open until 4pm, good for a late lunch. Their french dip sandwich is incredible, with very thinly-sliced and very tasty roast beef piled high on a roll. I suggest splitting it, it's that large.

American country cooking... Good service and tasty food. The kind of place where the servers know there customers by name and are interested in how there day is going. Would recommend if you need a place to refuel your belly with hot coffee and a warm smile.

I always make this my first stop in Pleasanton after a 13 hour flight from Sydney. The staff are friendly and it is a great reflection of American breakfast culture. I am working my way through their omelettes and will try other dishes over time.

I was traveling and used trip advisor to find a place for breakfast not too far from Highway. Ended up at Jims a long time local place. Bernie my server (she) was great. Busy but fast service. Luckily the breakfast special included their homemade sausage pattys. I couldn't believe how good they were. I ate a lot, loved it, took... More
