I like picking my salad ingredients from a long line of choices... And I like being able to add muffins, butter, soft serve ice cream, and all kinds of soups to the mix... Choices are a nice way to go, but sometimes having all those choices means that they become warm, or stale, or slightly off from the mix of... More

We needed a quick salad meal so stopped here. While this place is not a fancy or gourmet restaurant, they do a great job of keeping a self-serve salad bar clean and veggies fresh. If very basic salads, soups, and baked goods at a reasonable price is what you are looking for, this is the place. While they do a... More

We've eaten at Sweet Tomatoes literally dozens of times both as a couple and with family for birthdays. The one in Pleasant Hill, CA is absolutely consistent in their presentation of fresh salads and soups as well a variety of breads and rolls. It is certainly pocketbook friendly and we see no reason not to continue our patronage.

the variety of food will cover most anyone's tastes and salad bar, soup pasta, breads, desserts is good quality for cost. Place as enough space to be able to accomodate larger groups and those with little kids. Situated near Michaels, good variety of shops and a cinena. Free parking. Right noff freeway so convenient.

Sweet Tomatoes has such a large selection of food, everyone will be happy eating here and no one will go home hungry. Specialty salads, green salad, soups, pasta, fresh baked bread, baked potatoes, frozen yogurt, pudding and fruit - just to name a few items they have.

This was my first visit to a Sweet Tomatoes. I usually don't go to salad bars but this is definitely an exceptional place. The entire restaurant is spotless and the food choices are great. The choices for salad additions are the best I've experienced. They have many fresh soups and pastas as well as several bread items and pizza.. They... More

A very nice place to enjoy a healthy relaxing lunch. It is a make your own salad bar restaurant. Offering tons of options to build your salad just how you like it. It includes soup, bread and dessert, like most restaurants of this type. Always impressed with the variety and quality of the bread and soup options. Reasonably priced. Friendly... More

Plenty of selections. Each week-has a different theme. That week it was greek. Been to several locations and they seem a little shop worn. Could use some updating in the interior. Food though is always vey good.

A weekend splurge, and well worth it! The usual enormous salad bar, but also for brunch - eggs (3 dishes), biscuits, gravy, potatoes, pasta, cinnamon rolls, Belgian waffles, etc., etc. All fresh, inviting, and irresistible! And unlike lunch or dinner time, it's great to go when it's not crowded - we were there unknowingly when it opened at 9am and... More

Great salad bar. Lots of choices, both healthy and unhealthy. It's up to you what you eat. Both raw veggies and greens to make your own salad or prepared salads. They usually have 6 soups and always a vegetarian selection or two. I don't eat the pizza, pasta or desserts but they are definitely there. I try to go there... More
