Old fashioned Italian family style with excellent service and ambiance

We used to dine at Dallimonti's years ago but had sort of forgotten what a good restaurant this is. Decided to try it again one cold night last week with a couple of old friends. We were seated right away and ordered some very mellow house red wine to start. Menu items are written in on a chalk... read more

Looking for a quick lunch with a business colleague after a meeting in the area. What a wonderful surprise to find this restaurant. Great food, great service, great atmosphere, great value. I wish I could give this restaurant 10 stars. Will definitely be back next time in Pleasant Hill.

This is a lovely neighborhood restaurant and bar with friendly service and patrons. My parents have been coming here for many years. If they miss a week, the hostess asks how they are and where they've been. Have only eaten here for dinner - my parents love that its a prix fixe menu which includes a family style pot of... More

Family style service, a huge pot of minestrone, then salad, then the main course. Great pasta dishes, fixed all kinds of ways, been here for a grilled steak done perfect, prime rib that will only need a fork to cut, and veal dishes the old way. Very nice wine list too and great service. The owners Christie and Ron come... More

The food is great, every time we eat here, we say we gootta make this a weekly stop. Prime rib can cut with a butter knife, great veal scallopine, pastas in all sorts of setups, the soup and sald fill you up by themselves. Cannot say enough good things about these folks. The owners and thre staff are top notch,... More

My family loves to eat at Dallimonti's because its a little Italian gem to relax and enjoy a good meal. For one price the table gets a huge bowl of soup, salad and bread to share and most get seconds from the bowls. You order off a chalk board for each table and they usually have a daily special. I... This is simply our "Go To" restaurant when we are in need of a comfort food Italian fix. The meals are great, very nice prices and the wine list is more than fair. They do the soup, salad, pasta and entree family style, and you leave stuffed. Simply put, this is as good as it gets, eat here, meet the... More

Below average family style Italian. We had dinner with some friends. You order a main course and get soup, salad & pasta. the salad was an iceberg salad, the soup was minestrone type. The pasta was not al dente, it was over cooked spaghetti. Im sure people like this place, it has been there for years. I just done understand... More

Dallimonti's is our go to local Italian restaurant. This was our first time here for lunch and it was great. Dinner here is a served family style with bowls of soup and salad to start and ice cream for dessert. Portions are big and the price is right.

Dallimonti's is by far and away the best Italian restaurant in the East Bay. We've done birthdays, anniversaries, all kinds of events, they treat you right. The menu is simple, straight forward and outstanding. Pastas with a variety of great sauces, the soup and salad are fresh and perfect every time. The scallopini is great, nice steak and real good...
