We go to the Bay Area 4 times a year for business and I would have say after trying several sushi places this one is the best. Its located in a strip mall, it medium small and quaint. Wonderfully fresh sushi, delicately crisp tempura, tender udon, what's not to like. Another of the small restaurant treasures in Pleasant Hill, Matsu is not the most adventurous sushi bar around, but everything I've had on my dozens of visits has been impeccably fresh, and served with genuine artistry.
