We love this place!

It's a little retro, a little 1950s, but that's part of its charm! The food is good and plentiful; our favorites are the warm spinach salad (big enough to share) and pasta putanesca. Mmmm. They also have a full bar. Check the all-inclusive prices on the specials; they tend to be a little higher... read more

Recent 90th Birthday Party. Dinner for 70, no problem! Tony LoForte does it all in a Grand Manner. Fresh roasted vegetables, meats roasted perfectly, pasta al dente', selection of salads. Full bar with an extended wine list. Staff is talented/ New York style service being directed by Liz (floor manager), waiters, Antonio, Ramon, Jose. Great Event, No Flaws.

When I was a kid, dad would take a pot over and buy a bunch of minnestrone soup for dinner. Their food is great. I've been here many times for birthdays and Father's Day, Christmas parties and anniversaries and even dinner and dance nights. Sometimes they have bands here and you have dinner and dance to oldies. The fried ravioli... More

Zio Fraedo's is a gem right here in Pleasant Hill, California. It offers great Italian and continental cuisine with daily specials. While the dining experience is elegant, with great wait staff, it is also relaxed, so you don't have to wear a suit to enjoy the food or drink. Speaking of drinks, you have a wide range of wines as... More

If you are looking for a true "Dinner House" in Pleasant Hill, then Zio Fraedo's is the place to go. I have been going there for over 30 years and I have no problem in saying that Zeo's is the only true Dinner House in Pleasant Hill. The service is old world and very good. The food is great and... I purchased 4 tickets in November to the dinner and show (Murder Mystery) for my birthday at Zio Fraedo's in Pleasant Hill. I thought it be something very different and special to celebrate. When we arrived I excepted the dinner hall to be more than just generic huge room with round tables set up (something with decoration and/or a theme... More

This used to be a reasonably good place to take your parents or grandparents. We had taken our senior neighbors here for a birthday lunch. The waitress was completely inattentive to the point of embarrassment. The restaurant was not busy and the waitress chose to chat for over 20 minutes with two different tables while we waited. She made her... More

Zio Fraedo’s is a welcome upscale retro full-service dining room from the 1950 – 1980 era. It is classic old-school continental cuisine with an Italian accent. The menu contains items seldom seen these days including Beef Wellington and Surf-&-Turf. The menu is quite extensive, but there are also a number of specials each day. These specials come with soup or... More
