What a nice lunch

I stopped here for a quick lunch and I was looking for something a little different. The service was fast and the food was great. The little pot pies are so delicious and so many choices. I had the Roast beef because they were out of the lamb which I had my eye on. I am guessing they are all... read more

Z-Pie has become a family favorite and Lake Tahoe road trip tradition. We've tried almost every pie (pot pie) on the menu and haven't found a bad one yet. My daughter's favorite is the Italian Sausage. My husband and I prefer the Thai Chicken and the Steak Cabernet pies. The salads are also fresh with a light dressing. They also... More

We were tired and kind of stumbled in to the Z-Pie in Placerville, CA. Oh, it was good. I had the Chicken and Mushroom pie. Wonderful flaky crust. None of the gooshy thick gravy and bright green hard peas of most pot pies. Lots of chicken and mushrooms with just enough delicious sauce to hold all the ingredients together. The... More

Had their pot pie and thought it was no more tasty then what I could make at home and besides that it was pricey for the small pie that was delivered to us. I know the establishment does a good business, so I would say try it yourself to form your own opinion. It's located on a side street, very... More

We were in the Placerville area for a week-end of cycling with our bike club. I saw that, in addition to many other choices, Z-Pie offered a vegetarian pot pie. We picked up two frozen pies and had them for dinner after our three hour drive home. They were delicious! Some vegetarian friends ate dinner here one night - they... More

Delicious pot pies, delicious dessert pies... oh, I miss Z Pies. There were so many varieties I liked. Beef burgundy, mushroom, chicken, jambalaya... sigh.

Generally good food and service, a bit off the beaten track of Main street...pricing is okay but will most likely not be going back.

These are by far the best pot pies ever made! We don't always have time to "dine-in", but when we have the service has always been excellent. Our freezer usually has their pot pies for a quick and easy meal. Wonderful for unexpected company & during the work week when your too tired to cook. Highly recommend trying them!
