I was very impressed not only with the service and unique location, but the food was quite good as well. Certainly better then you would get at an Ihop or similar location. Great place to take visitors!

You got to go here. Usually busy so get there early. Ollaliberry anything is the ticket. As well as the cinnamon raisin bread. Just great food and great service!

Cute little town of Placerville, CA. This was a cozy cafe. I had a BLT sandwich and a salad. They were both very good. My husband got a burger that he also liked. The service was good too.

Thank goodness my wife googled restaurants in Placerville before we went. Sweetie Pie's was highly rated and it deserves it. We were 3 adults and a baby and were seated right away although the place was crowded. You get your own coffee from pump pots filled with a variety of flavors. I ordered their in house made pican cinnamon cinnamon... More

Delicious breakfast. I ordered the nutty pancakes with scrambled eggs and sausage. Everything was cooked perfectly and delivered quickly. The atmosphere is happy and bustling and the staff are a delight. I'm in town for a few days and will be back for breakfast again tomorrow. Highly recommend. Try the olallieberry syrup - YUM!!

Stopped here for lunch when passing through on business and was SO glad we did. It appears to be a house turned into a restaurant, which makes it pretty cozy. I had the french onion soup and the turkey melt ... both were delicious! Would definitely go back if ever possible.

I stopped by here on a business trip. It was a nice little place on a cool looking street. The sandwich that I ordered was one the best that I ever had. The bread made the sandwich. It was so good.

Our 10am Monday morning visit introduced us to a busy breakfast place with a staff that stayed on top of things. You are greeted at the door with a cup so you can pour your own coffee as you wait to be seated. We didn't have to wait long as the outdoor dining area just cleared and under umbrella seating... My Wife and I have made it a habit to stop at Sweetie Pie's whenever we are on the road between the Bay Area and South Lake Tahoe (or anywhere that takes us through Placerville). In general we even schedule our trip so that we will arrive at Sweetie Pie's around 11 so we have the option of lunch if... More

The hostess was gracious, asking where we'd like to be seated, and when asked which she liked best, she brought us to a sunny table on the porch. We savored the olallieberry pancakes, scrambled eggs, and so much more. I can't wait to go back and keep eating! It says quite a lot that it was packed on Monday morning... More
