Was in town for 2 nights and heard good things about this place so we decided to try it for lunch. I ordered a sandwich and my partner a salad. The homemade bread with my sandwich was excellent, I could have just made that the meal. My partner really like the salad dressing but his side bread lacked taste. We... More

This is a great place to eat breakfast and, as far as that meal is concerned, some of the best food I've had anywhere. The one problem is that everyone loves it and Thanksgiving week is probably not a good time to go. Crowded, but worth the wait.

This old house, where "Sweetie Pies" is now located in, is on Main Street in old historic Placerville, CA. It was the county's "sheriff's residence around 1900. Good, solid filling food. Their home-made pecan cinnamon rolls are famous here. You can not go wrong eating breakfast or lunch at Sweetie Pies! NOT open for dinner.

This comfortable restaurant is in a former home on the Main Street of Placerville. This restaurant is popular with the locals so it might be difficult to get a seat during lunch hour or on a sunny saturday morning. They specialize in breakfasts w/ a variety of omlete's and sweets for breakfast and soups, salads, and quiches for lunch. The... More

We came here because of a recommendation by a friend. We'll come back because it was everything they said it was. Pet friendly patio area. Went here for breakfast on a Friday morning. I was happy to see they had a choice of small, medium, or large order of biscuits and gravy. Seriously one of the best biscuits EVER. The... More

Great service and food. Breads (wide variety), Muffins and cinnamon Rolls all made fresh daily. We had a party of five and we all had something different (one of use had two breakfasts) and all meals were prepared perfectly. Great hollandaise sauce, cheese blintz was fantastic. Portions are more than generous. Definitely we will be going back. It is worth... More

This is a great place for a good solid breakfast and a menu that provides lots of choices. They have great breakfast "sweets" and the staff is very friendly. I'm a bit picky about my coffee and mostly I don't bother to order a cup because I don't care for it. Plan to wait on a weekend morning as this... More

There is cheaper food in town but you get what you pay for. TIP; For a family of 3 order 2 meals Or for a group of 4 order 3 meals , you will have more than enough food to go around. They are not the fastest food in town but always good. The Quiche is good but not enough... More

This place is an old Victorian House that has been converted to a Café. It has the original wood floors, and ceilings. The doors are still on all the rooms that you can dine in. They have three rooms and the entrance where you can sit to dine. There are plenty of waitresses to take your order and serve you... More
