Breakfast was fine, nothing exceptional. Sweet rolls are fantastic, but expensive. Overall, a fine restaurant but pricey compared to others in town.

Sweetie Pie's just has that classic, good ol' American small town feel backed up with great food and welcoming service. Come as you are, come with your family or friends, come from brunch. Sweetie Pie's will take you with a smile and leave you satisfied. From bacon, eggs and hash browns, to BLT's, soups and salads or a Philly Cheesesteak.... More

So disappointed that there were 6 dogs in our eating space- patio, porch & inside- noisy. Observed waitress petting dog and then setting utensils. Yuck! Not enjoyable if looking for a quiet, special time where a conversation can be held. Not good if allergic. Could not tolerate so we left.Too bad because we used to love going for the wonderful... My fish and chips were one of the two best versions of this basic dish that I have ever tasted. The coating was lightly crisp with perfectly cooked fish inside. The "chips" (french fries) were delicately fried and tasty. Our other dish was a chicken salad with pears, honey pecans and cheese (see the picture) as pleasantly presented as any... More

We were driving through Placerville on the way home from Tahoe and decided to stop at Sweetie's for some coffee and muffins. My husband declared, "This is the best muffin I have had all week!" I decided to buy some of their cinammon raisin bread, which they keep frozen for travelers. When I got home and got to taste it,... More

Checked Trip Advisor for a place to stop for lunch when passing through Placerville, went on the advice of fellow reviewers and chose Sweetie Pie's. We were not disappointed! The food is freshly made and delicious. We shared a turkey and avocado sandwich on their house-made wheat bread and it was superior to most turkey sandwiches. They roast the turkey... More

Busy, noisy, electric atmosphere located all in a quaint old house on Main Street, USA! Although Sweetie Pies' usually very busy (for good reason!) getting a table is no problem. The service is great, and the get your own coffee cart boasts several flavors and the condiments to boot! Attentive yet not hovering, the wait staff is prompt to get... More

Famous among us locals as a great place to meet friends for breakfast rustic but real. The best cinnamon rolls and breads and incredible Huevos Rancheros.. It serves lunch and it's very good also but breakfast is the meal of choice. Can be long wait on weekends when the farmers market is open on Saturdays also worth a visit for... More

Coffee was only the beginning. The eggs benedict were terrific also. Busy but efficient. Great spot for breakfast.

I was very impressed not only with the service and unique location, but the food was quite good as well. Certainly better then you would get at an Ihop or similar location. Great place to take visitors!
