El Farolito has the best chips and salsa and is family owned. (salsa is a tad spicy if, try small portion first) They serve wonderful food that we can afford to take our whole family to. On this trip I tried the Chimiganga and it was huge and delicious! my husband loves carnitas so opted for that and it was... More

El Farolito has the best chips and salsa and is family owned. They serve wonderful food that we can afford to take our whole family to. I especially love the chicken burrito and my husband loves the chicken enchiladas. Try this restaurant and you won't be disappointed!

This place is consistently the best Mexican food. We have been going there for years and will continue.

They have wonderful authentic Mexican food. I haven't had anything that wasn't delicious. My favorite is the chicken enchiladas ranchreras, sooooo gooood . It is family friendly go early or you will have to wait ( no reservations ). The food is worth the wait. Good selection of Mexican beers too.

I like many people on CSUF campus discovered this deliciousness by word of mouth. I started coming to this family owned restaurant in 1995 and continue to stop by when i am in the area. The carnitas plate is still my favorite and the shrimp cocktail is a close second!

Glad it was a Saturday as we were able to taste the menudo (tripe) with hominy (big puffy and chewy corn). I enjoyed the enchiladas verdes with rice, and refried beans. And tried a bit of steak picado plate that also came with rice, refried beans and corn tortillas that you can assemble your own soft tacos. Huge portions, great... More

Family-run for generations. Authentic food and homey ambiance, just like Grandma's house. Great for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Never had a bad meal or bad service. Just go (or get take-out)....you won't regret it.

The carnitas & carnitas de machaca are my 2 favorites and by far the the best in Orange County as well as anywhere else for that matter. The arroz con pollo is amazing with nice chunks of white breast meat instead of that grizzled dark thigh meat most places use. You can grab a beer out of the fridge while... More
