I'm not sure what has happened to Hoagies but something serious has changed. I have reviewed them in the past and gave them glowing reviews, not this time. We ordered the Fish and Chips and the Fish tacos. All of the fish had the breading coming off of it and it was very greasy, like the grease it was cooked... More

This place has really changed and it is not f'or the better! It is now the worst fish I have had in Pismo. It was greasy and the batter was pretty gross, like old rotten oil. Just getting worse every time we go. So no more wasting money on nasty tasting fish!!

We really enjoyed the grilled fish tacos. If you're in a hurry, you'll want to eat elsewhere. It was $21 for three tacos& a beer. The tacos were delicious and their chips and salsa were really good!

The place is small, noisy and crowded most of the time, but the food is great. There's an outside patio for warmer days (still a bit noisy), and dogs are obviously welcomed. Hoagies has a wide selection of beer, and a pretty good variety of casual food (for Pismo). The tri-tip sandwich is outstanding, served with salsa and curley fries,... More

Tried the fish tacos, which were very good! Prices were reasonable, and the outdoor seating area was a good place to relax!

When we checked into our hotel, the receptionist recommended Hoagies as one of the restaurants to try. It was a really good suggestion. You order from the counter when you walk in and your food is brought to you.The staff was friendly, our refreshments came quickly and when the food arrived it was wonderful. We sat outside and enjoyed the... More

Eaten here a couple of times, & food is always awesome! There are some unique selections on the menu, and good brews. Great location, you can see the ocean from the outdoor patio. Lots of bob marley memorabilia, & reggae music. Service was good, cook time seemed a bit long, but maybe because everything smelled so good, I wanted to... More

Wherever I asked everybody pointed the signal of Hoagies, perfect sandwich assortment, good beers options including classic IPA, nice service and nice enviornment. If you have the choice to travel to the lovely Pismo Beach, stop by here!

We were staying at the motel opposite, and found this a great place for breakfast. It's an unpretentious diner with Rasta ambience - a bit of a shrine to Bob Marley. Very pleasant staff, excellent food, very good value. Loved it.

I loved this place! The ambiance is great, lots of people, delicious wraps, and well worth the price... very hefty! Would strongly recommend and will definitely come back.
