A perfect sisters celebration dinner! We found this place from a friends recommendation and it was spot on. Delicious and well prepared, priced right. The food was generously portioned too! I was so glad we had a fridge in the hotel so I could enjoy leftovers for breakfast!

Having visited this restaurant a couple of times in the past, we decided to have lunch here again. Though service was good, the food was not up to par. The green curry seemed like white curry, flavorless and spicy. We hardly ate much of this. The Pad Thai noodles were quite good including the Garlic chicken. Remember medium spicy here... More

Great food. I ordered golden fried chicken, pork fried rice and Pad Thai noodle. The food was really good. Very large portion for dinner.

I don't like leaving bad reviews, but this place is in the tank since our last visit with 4 people for dinner. Service, food were all just lousy, don't know what else to say.

wide variety, hard to choose, ask the waiter/waitress they know and can recommend by your likes and dislikes. They have BBQ ribs that are amazing but hard to choose because the other choices are also good. Go with friends so you can all choose something different and share. Don't forget to get some coconut ice cream, now that is the... More

We stay in Pismo Beach usually twice a year, so this time we wanted to try something different in town. When we got there the restaurant was totally full, this being just before New Years. Despite that, there were only two servers on duty and one fairly new server/cleanup person. Once we got someone's attention, we ordered chicken with vegetables... More

My wife and I travel extensively worldwide and Thai Talay is one of the very few Thai restaurants we have found in the US that prepares truly authentic Thai food to any spice level desired. We have been dining at Thai Talay for several years now and are never disappointed in the quality and flavors of the food. Having enjoyed... More

You have got to be kidding me. I'm a local, I will not eat here. Food is not authentic. And there are so many better Thai restaurants in the area. The disgusting part of the experience came as the watiress approached our table. She sneezed loudly and announced, "Sorry, I've got a cold". She explained the mgmt here lets her... More

Stopping for a late lunch, the place was nearly deserted, but that was fine with us as we usually get better service with fewer diners to take care of. This was the case today; the service was very good, but the food lacked the pizazz you usually get with Thai food. I noticed we weren't offered a choice of how... More

Have eaten here several times. This last time the food just wasn't that special. Had chicken satay. The chicken was a little tough and stringy. There wasn't a little grill brought to the table like many places. Dying for Thai would return but not planning to re-visit anytime soon.
