Fantastic Appetizers

By reading trip advisor we found out that steamers is known for very good food particularly their appetizers as well as their happy hour drinks so we decided to stop by . I'm really glad we did because we had some great happy hour drinks, bloody Mary for me and margarita for my wife. The appetizers... read more

We decided to check out the happy hour menu in the lounge as a way of seeing if this is a restaurant we want check out further while we are in town. We found it to be excellent. The 1/2 lb baby clams were prepared in a garlic, butter and wine sauce that was outstanding! We also had the 1/2... More

This restaurant is a typical resort fish house. The clam chowder was good and they make several very nice salads. If you get a table near a window you will have a beautiful view. We were able to see dolphins playing in the surf line at the sunset. There may be better restaurants around, but this one is consistently OK... More

The meal was very good, but it is served a la carte. The entrees are good but a bit pricey. The restaurant is clean and has a nice wait staff but we will only be visiting for

The best artichokes I have ever had. Absolutely superb! Full bar and plenty of space to eat there. Extensive and reasonable menu. Next door to excellent hotel. Plenty of parking.

Ate outside on the patio right on the bay, the location was great the food was great and the service was friendly and efficient. If we lived in the area we'd definitely make it a regular stop. It was a little pricey but worth it.

We eat here at least once a year and have always been satisfied with our dining experience. Tonight, however, proved to be different. Seven of us went to celebrate the birthday of a member of our group. Because of our number, we could not be seated at an ocean-view booth, though we were told when we made the reservation that... Steamers was a recommended restaurant and we were not disappointed. Great view of the ocean. Good parking. Large restaurant but reservations recommended. Two of us ordered the clams with linguini and was shocked to see more than 3 dozen clams in the shell atop the pasta! I ate all of mine and some of my cousins too! We also order... More

We had dinner here in April while visiting the Central Coast for our anniversary. We had a nice booth next to the windows with ocean view. We had their 2 of their wine samplers along with the steamed clams to start. Clams were excellent with delightful broth to dip your bread in. My wife had the striped bass which was... More
