We eat here at least once a year and have always been satisfied with our dining experience. Tonight, however, proved to be different. Seven of us went to celebrate the birthday of a member of our group. Because of our number, we could not be seated at an ocean-view booth, though we were told when we made the reservation that... Steamers was a recommended restaurant and we were not disappointed. Great view of the ocean. Good parking. Large restaurant but reservations recommended. Two of us ordered the clams with linguini and was shocked to see more than 3 dozen clams in the shell atop the pasta! I ate all of mine and some of my cousins too! We also order... More

We had dinner here in April while visiting the Central Coast for our anniversary. We had a nice booth next to the windows with ocean view. We had their 2 of their wine samplers along with the steamed clams to start. Clams were excellent with delightful broth to dip your bread in. My wife had the striped bass which was... More

We stopped in after 4:30pm when they begin serving the dinner menu. We got a terriffic window seat with a view of the ocean. The service was great, the portions were big and the food tasted great. We shared the fish and chips an split a cup of clam chowder which was thick and creamy. My wife had the crab... More

We were looking for a late night snack and made it for dessert. It was an little pricy for sorbet but the best deal was the clam appetizer. The steamer butter broth sauce was delicious served with cheese toast.

10 years ago we hosted a rehearsal dinner here for our son and new daughter. Everything was excellent. Tonight we went into the bar for some cocktails and appetizers. There may have been 1 or 2 people there with us, but all of a sudden a guy with a guitar in the corner started playing and singing. Hey- we grew... More

I have worked at "MASTRO'S REST." in Beverly Hills for eleven years and I am aware of fine dining and how to treat guest's! My wife and I live in Las Angles. We have been visiting Pismo Beach for many years. We have been to "Steamers" several times in the past. Our last experience (March 30th "2015") sitting at the... More

Could just about have had the steamer sauce as a soup; heavenly! Really nice dinner. Service a little slow or would have rated 5•••••. Highly recommend

Steamers is becoming a restaurant of choice for me and my wife. It seems that every trip to Pismo now includes at least one drink and some appetizers if not a full meal. Although my wife who, before we married, lived in the area likes Brad's for their clam chowder. It seems to me that the clam chowder at Steamers... More
