We stopped for drinks and appetizers in the bar. The food was tasty (crab cakes and seared tuna) and the drinks did their jobs. Service was good once we were noticed in a nearly empty room. Don't bother with the crème brulee, I think it was cheese cake with a caramel top, not creamy. This was a... read more

We stopped here on impulse to have a late lunch and were treated to one of the many table against the windows. The entire backside is All windows and a 'to die for' view of the Pacific Ocean. We watched people on the beach, surfers and pelicans diving for their lunch and of course -the endless views of the ocean.... More

We were driving from northern to southern CA and decided to stop at Steamer's in Pismo Beach, CA for lunch. My husband had their wedge salad, and I had a cup of their fabulous clam chowder soup and the smaller order of steamer clams. Yum! Every day lunch is served from 11: 30 AM-3 PM; dinner is served M-Th 4:... More

My husband and I shared our 15th anniversary dinner here last night. We came on the same occasion a year ago and liked it enough to return. The view is wonderful during the day. The decor is comfortable and understated. The staff is nice and accommodating. They gave us the same corner booth we dined in last year even though... More

The clam chowder at Steamers used to be so delicious and memorable that I would relive it, and I told everyone who was going to Pismo to stop and have their chowder because it was the best I had ever tasted. Unfortunately, this is no longer true. They seem to have changed the recipe, or possibly worse, have started buying... More

We stopped here for lunch and was seated at the window seating, Our server (first day on the job) did a very good job. The staff worked well together and we were taken care of quite nicely. I enjoyed clam chowder and calamari. My husband liked their lentil soup and shrimp and chips. We thought the food was OK for... More

Loved the place! Food & drink was awesome! Service too. The guys on the guitar and bass were great! the Halibut fish and chips were WAY overpriced-3 small pieces of fish for $22 Really?

Went there with high expectations and was surprised how they can get away serving such poor food. I ordered the Halibut and Chips, when it arrived I couldn't believe what I saw for $17. The two pieces of Halibut were the size of my thumb and fries were cold and hard. My friends did a little better with the special... More

We had a beautiful dinner at sunset sharing happy hour meals + appetizers and their specialty margaritas. It was a lot of fun and the happy hour menu price was right!

Been going there for years for the view and food. Now, I'll go there for the view only. New a la cart menu sucks...served me a $42 King Crab Leg dinner where the shells were not even cut. This was a first after 10 years of going there to order the same dinner. Something happened there...the previous management was far... More
