Steamers is one of our favorite places for happy hour. The setting is beautiful, the service exceptional, the appetizers are tasty, and the prices are very reasonable.

The service here was okay. The young lady serving us seemed too scripted like she wasn't being her natural self. The food was average especially for the high price. My lobster wasn't fresh at all. It was mushy, consistent with them freezing it or having it on hand for far too long. My girlfriend ordered a seafood pasta that was... More

Overall the food is just ok. I got a salad and it was terrible. For a restaurant I consider to be so well known I was disappointed in the quality.

Went to Steamers with my wife, son and his girlfriend. The Atmosphere was top notch with a cozy bar area while waiting for a table. Many tables in the dining area have ocean views. The food delivery is a little slow due to the usual crowded restaurant. It is known for its seafood. I had scallops which were excellent. My son... More

We had fish tacos and a sampler with all kinds of delicious seafood! The view of the ocean as well as the décor was fantastic. We ate lunch for a reasonable price. Dinner would have been with a larger price tag.

We had dinner at a window table watching the sunset. It was beautiful. Our waiter was very nice and the food excellent. My wife had the salmon salad and it was delicious, just as she expected. My dish was equally excellent with the fish prepared exactly as I requested.

I would give this place 5 stars if the hostess hadn't been surly and the drinks hadn't been wrongly poured after waiting 20 minutes as the "bar was slammed" which was not my problem. However, the chowder was great as was the seafood, and even the duck on the special was cooked to perfection. In a touristy place this is... More

Had dinner here a couple of weeks ago. Chose it because it was an easy walk from our hotel (Seacrest). Food was very good and usual generous sized portions. View of sunset from a window table was excellent. My wife had fish, and I tried a burger with pulled beef? topping. Everything was great.

Wanted to go to Steamers in Pismo Beach. After calling the restaurant to get walking directions we ended up walking 9 blocks instead of the 4 blocks it would have taken if the hostess would have provided accurate directions. Walked in to the restaurant and complained about the directions. A young manager said "All of our staff do their best... More

Eating at Steamers was a lazy choice as we were staying at Kon Tiki, next door. We couldn't be bothered walking into town after watching the sunset so it was a no-brainer. We booked a table for 8pm which was seemingly late by local habits. Just as we were about to go in, a New York foursome were coming out... More
