We're a local couple and like to refer good restaraunts to our visiting friends. Steamers has cut their menu but not their prices. Service was adequate at best. We ordered the halibut. They served it to us in a bowl thrown on top of mashed potatoes. No more referrals to Steamers. more
I was disappointed in the meal we had here. It's a shame because the potential was high. more
My husband and I attended a wedding on Sept. 12th and we truly enjoyed the admosphere and the food was the best I have every had at a wedding. Loved it and I give it a 10!!! more
nice restaurant, lovely sea views, mainly seafood with alternative choices. excellent service. found the lighting a little too dim. quite expensive but the exchange rate was not good whilst we were there. more

Hands down the BEST clam chowder I have ever eaten. We went for lunch and I enjoyed some of the best blackened salmon ever. Every year at the SLO Vintners festival, Steamers has a booth where they serve samples of their clam chowder, which is quite good.
