Ran in for a quick dinner after arriving at our hotel. Service excellent. Food a pleasant surprise. Fantastic setting. Right on the cliffs overlooking beach.

We dined at Steamers while staying at the Kon Tiki Inn. Great view overlooking the Pacific if you have a window table. We ordered the clams for our appetizers which were bathed in a delicious sauce, great for dipping our bread. But the clams themselves were very small and the large portion enough for only two. My husband ordered a... More

Great bread pudding! We ordered it to-go, and the hostess helpfully provided instructions as to get the best of it. She suggested we didn't take it warm but rather heat it in the microwave, and she had the glaze part separated so that it wouldn't make the bread soggy. What great customer service!

We ate at Steamers of Pismo Beach about a week ago. We'd had the pleasure of eating here several times over the years, but it was when it went by a different name. We had a cup of Clam Chowder, which was decent. Our selection was the sampler and it was pretty good, but one family member didn't care for... More

Fantastic meal and friendly & efficient service, although the restaurant was quite busy (on a Sunday evening). We have a great window table, so were able to watch the whales in the sea. Not something we can do back home in the UK!

Had a very pleasant meal overlooking the sea. Watched the sunset behind the palms, very romantic. I had the sushi seaweed tuna starter, which could have been better for the cost, but my wife and I enjoyed the rest of the meal which was very tasty.

We stay in the Pismo Beach area at least once a year and always have a dinner at Steamers, where we feast on fresh seafood. Last night, I enjoyed a pound of succulent steamed clams. My husband ordered grilled salmon and was amazed at the huge piece of fish, perfectly prepared, that was placed before him. A friend was quite... More

Generally, a required stop for me in the San Luis Obispo area is McClintock's in Pismo Beach. For some reason we landed at the McClintock's Steamers of Pismo. The view was fantastic, the service adequate, the menu pricey, the selections ho-hum. It has been only two weeks since my dinner there and I can't remember what I had - hardly... More

We traveled from a far distance and wanted some good local food since. Some local folks suggested Steamers. It's more formal that a lot of the local restraunts. Linen table cloths, linen napkins, etc. They asked if we had a reservation, we said no and they still got us sitted immediately. This was on a Wednesday evening meal as well.... More

Had one night at the Seacrest in Pismo beach.....walked a few hundred yards and found the Steamers bar and grill. Ordered a bottle of white wine (oyster bay Sauvignon blanc) which was half. It's normal price of $34. Then the bowl of clam chowder each, lovely. Then the main which was Pismo seafood combo ( think that's what it was).... More
