If you are someone who appreciates crab in all its glory you have to visit here. Having spent a lot of time in Maryland, I have not been to a crab restaurant on the west coast that comes close to the taste and quality of the Chesapeake until I visited here. First of all, they don't hide the Old Bay.... More

The prices may throw some people off as the atmosphere seems really laid back, but many of the menu items are affordable. My husband shared a bucket with my mother in law who is from Vermont, they said it was fantastic and they know their seafood. The menu is made daily depending on what they get in that day so... More

This came highly recommended by locals. Although pricey, it didnt disappoint. The quality and service was superb.

We dined here on Sunday, November 9th. We had the bucket of crab, shrimp and upgraded to the Alaskan King crab. The upgrade was only one leg and was $29 extra. We thought it was a bit pricey for one leg. You get corn (very dry) and hot links or sausage and boiled potatoes. The crab was good, have had... More

I've always loved the Cracked Crab. Enough so, I took 19 people from work. It was a slower night so they were prepared for us when we showed after giving a heads up earlier in the day. The staff did everything to make us feel welcome and the service was very timely. I personally think this is one of the... More

Cracked Crab gives you an opportunity to be "involved" with your meal. The deliver the food with a hammer to crack it open with. At first I wasn't too thrilled with the idea of hammering my food but I soon found we enjoyed it. Have fun!

We went here to celebrate a birthday. We had to wait for 30 minutes to get a table. The food is good but expensive. Service is slow because they are so busy. We won't go there again as we thought it pricey.

Shared the big bucket for two. Simply one of our best meals on holiday. Mega fresh, delicious crab and prawns and great spicy sausage. All dumped on the table to dig in! Much to my delight the wine list was also excellent with a couple of really delicious Californian Sauvignon Blancs. 100% recommended for a fun, delicious fresh seafood meal... More

The Cracked Crab features shell fish. Most order either the shell fish individually but many love the big pot with a variety of shell fish, bolded potatoes, corn all spread over paper on your table. Fingers are the only utensil needed, unless you want crab claws or picks.
