We had breakfast here. Coffee was very good. I had scrambled eggs with a side of bacon. TON of eggs, three slices thick bacon. Yum. My daughter ordered a croissant sandwich. Be forewarned that several of the breakfast choices seemed to come with tater tots on them. Not a lot for healthy choices, but good, simple and well-priced.

Stopped by for lunch and was super surprised at the food presented. Ordered fish and chips with a bowl of clam chowder on the side. The fish was great and large portions on every ones plate. After the fish and chips I thought I was too full for the chowder but one bite and I couldn't put my spoon down.... More

Creamy clam chowder available in fresh made bread bowls with seafood toppings. Menu also has great clam strips, and grilled cheese, along with more seafood options. Yummy on a warm night. This place gets very busy during the summer and weekend especially. There are cute clam themed murals painted on the walls and a casual atmosphere. Close to the water.... More

We were advised by a local to try splash cafe as according to him they sell the "best chowder in town". And boy was he right!! It was our first experience of chowder in Cali and it was great. Splash Cafe is a well-established company and the chowder is their speciality. Service was speedy and within minutes we were chowing... More

Small but mighty. Clam chowder super. They do a big take out. Restaurant has a few small tables and a bar long the wall. There is usually a line to get in. Order at counter and they call your name and bring order to you.

My friend suggested this place to us for the chowder and I'm glad that she did because it's very good! Got there around 9 in the evening and it was perfect the line was not so long and the wait was not so bad. The place is not that big and it's first come first serve so you have to... More

... AND IT WAS AWESOME! I've always heard people rave about this place, but never tried it until a few weeks ago. My husband and I split the clam chowder in the sourdough bread bowl and it was more than enough for the both of us. Chowder was smooth and not overloaded with random veggies like you'd see at other... More

I ordered a bowl of the award winning New England clam chowder ($4.95) and fried clams & chips ($5.95 - Fried clams w/ Splash's curly fries). They also have bread bowls for $6.95, fish & chips and sandwiches at reasonable prices. Lastly, they also serve breakfast. The clam chowder was very good. Splash's version is probably the best New England... More

Splash is a must every time we come to Pismo. Chowder, calamari, or fish&chips, doesn't matter what you get. Expect to be happy and full!!

I'm so glad we stopped here for clam chowder on our way through Pismo beach! It was delicious! The bread bowl it came in was wonderful too. My husband got a burger and fries which he said were fine. There was a line out of the door but it moved quickly. Our meal total was about $18 with one beverage.
