This place is ok - I probably wouldn't have come but strangely the SLO area is in need of some authentic Mexican food and we are still on the hunt - but this place comes close! It's in a prime location right by the pier. When we walked in, the walls were full of handmade signs and it was pretty... More

Don't bother stopping here! The food was about the worst Mexican food we have ever had! Add to that that you are eating over-priced food with plastic forks and knives in an unattractive setting and you have a totally bad experience. Save yourself the time and money! We absolutely hated it!

Another "location" restaurant... you wouldn't make a special trip to eat here, but if you are in downtown Pismo, you'll be ok with it... and hey, you are close to the beach. A tiny restaurant, with pretty good (not very good) food, and they forgot to give us our chips & salsa we ordered. Nothing special, but you won't go... More

We hit right at closing after a long day of travel, and ended up having to buy our meal as a takeout order. The atmosphere in the restaurant looked so fun. Though we had to eat in our car, the food was fantastic. I wish I lived close by--I would definitely return and enjoy more of the menu. The food... More

We are East LA Mexican food purists, and for a place so far away from there, this place is as homemade and delicious as you can get. We came back more than once because of the homemade beans and rice, carnitas. Try the shrimp burrito! Something unique, try the marinated potatoes.

The restaurant is small, and not suited to large groups, but dining as a couple we really enjoyed the food. The salsas tasted fresh-made, and my burrito was flavorful. Portions seemed fair for the price. Friendly staff and cozy atmosphere. This wasn't our first visit, and we'll definitely go again when in the area.

After an early lunch, went here for a somewhat later dinner. It was just okay. Have had much better Mexican food. Will probably not go here again if in the area.

I had just arrived in Pismo Beach and was walking around the downtown area hoping to Mexican food. I luckily found this place. It is the type of the place where you order at a counter. Most menu meals were $6-10. I got the two chicken taco combo plate. I eat Mexican food often because I love it and because... More

This restaurant was voted among the best places to get tacos in 2002 Sunset Magazine. They have taken down the sign that stated this. Great Mexican food fast and reasonable priced.

I love the shrimp burrito at this place! The customer service has always been excellent. The college kids can be rowdy sometimes, but the food is great. My shrimp burrito had rice, lettuce, guacamole, cheese, sour cream, and tons of shrimp!
