We enjoyed our lunch and first time tri-tip grill. Service was a little slow and impersonal but not excessively so. more

We were seated quickly but then sat without service for close to 10 minutes. Finally asked a bus boy for our server. Waiter arrives and apologizes as he didn't realize our table was his. Lame. There was obviously no management or other waiters taking notice. None the less...he stepped up his efforts and serves us decently from there. The food... more

I've had clam chowder everywhere along the east coast....Boston, Providence, Main...etc...and BRAD'S consistently had the BEST clam chowder I have had...anywhere. period. NOT too thick, NOT overloaded with potatoes, LOTS of clams, not too salty....Perect. We go up to Paso 6 or so times a year..and ALWAYS stop at Brad's for my chowder fix. Decent service, good value, great atmosphere... more

I ordered their $7.60 Tri-Tip sandwich to-go last weekend. They make it right in front of you in the traditional barbecue pit. It consists of only the bun and a mound of meat. They give you the sauce on the side, which is not really needed because the pit smokes the meat to perfection! more

My friend loves clam chowder (I don't eat it). We went on an informal search for the best in the area, based on recommendations from friends. The chowder style in this area seems to be exclusively New England Style (cream based). Brad's was the best. The clams were tender, the spices commingled well, it was piping hot, and all the... more

I'll never know whether the food is bad, mediocre, or outstanding. A bottle of red wine was ordered and the bottle was WARM. When the complaint was made to our waiter, he just laughed and said that the wine was stored above the beer kegs and because he didn't drink wine; he thought is was o.k. We never ate there... more

Yummy food, close to beach, reasonable price, clean everything there was good except for the very rude hostess that was seating people. I've never had anyone call my name over the loud speaker twice and did not hear it, especially since I was standing right in front of the restaurant the whole time. I heard all the other names clearly:... more

Not every restaurant can be GREAT everytime.......except this one! I have eaten at Brad's four times and have ordered something different evertime....save the cup of clam chowder that is a staple! The shrimp cocktail is delicious, the sandwiches are fresh and well prepared, and the staff is friendly, helpful, and laid back. Brad's is not for fine dining, so don't... more
