We chose to eat at Brads during our one night stop over in Pismo. We had the ribs and chowder and both were amazing! Real 70s America vibe, I was just waiting for a waitress to call me "doll" or "hon"! This restaurant gives you a real honest flavour of what a tourist might expect from a seaside eaterie. Good... I’ve eaten a lot of ‘fish & chips’ in my lifetime, but these were the best I’ve ever had. The breading was very light and the cod was so light I could barely pick it up without it breaking apart. And it was served just the way I like my hot food served…HOT! While not outstanding, the fries were very... More

I always eat here for years upon years & this past weekend we go for the day & the wait wasn't that long so not the problem but the food comes out & it was luke warm not hot & fresh, & my husband gets his clam chowder bowl & he said it was awful the bread wasn't even cooked... More

I suppose it was silly for two Brits to try fish and chips ('fries') in an American place. Nonetheless the service was very friendly, the patio area very pleasant and 'English-style' (i.e. malt) vinegar on the table. The fish was very bland (both the fish and the batter) and the chips were, of course, American fries, but it was ok... More

Great downtown location. Very nice patio for summer dining. Family party of five ordered different items off of the menu. Very good clam chowder. Fish and Chips, outstanding, very clean taste and too much to eat! I ordeedr a hamberger (yes, a hamberger) Still the best berger in Pismo. Very clean and great service. Prices are right on.

All of the beach eateries are busy, go early or wait in line. We ate indoors but the patio is nice and breezy. Nothing awesome but nothing awful.

Even when busy, the service is always good and the food delicious. The best clam chowder in Pismo......and the fish and chips were cooked perfect!!!! Can't wait to go back.

We had lunch here and the food was very good. We ate outside in the courtyard area which was very nice and relaxing. Friendly and fast service even though they were very busy. We look forward to going back to Brads when back in Pismo!

Great food, quick service and very reasonable prices. I've never had the fish and chips there, but I hear from my sons it is great.

Pismo was very busy and there was a queue to get into Brads. Thew waitress was very helpful took our name and we didn't have to wait too long before we got a table. Service was a little slow as they were busy but lovely friendly waitress made up for it. No barbecue on a Tuesday but didn't matter as... More
