Worth the Wait for American Breakfast

This is my Auntie's favorite breakfast spot and we usually have to wait for a booth. It is not very big, but the menu is the classic American breakfasts and they do it well. The service is good. You have to have eggs when you are in Petaluma, the once egg capital of the world (?).

Good variety of breakfast classics, with some upscale touches (including corn cakes and Cajun sausage). Décor isn't fancy, but it has ambience of a small-town diner. It is a relatively small establishment, and fills up quickly on weekends.

The staff is very friendly and efficient. Their bacon and french toast are great. As is their oatmeal. If booths full, counter service is fun.

The food is just ordinary and the service is poor. I sat at the counter and had eggs and coffee. I was completely ignored and never offered a refill until I asked for the check. To little to late! I don't understand why people come here. There are much better places to eat in Petaluma.

This is a great little dinner. The food is amazing and the staff is super friendly. My favorite food item is the salmon scramble with a cup of coffee.

We stopped by Hallies for breakfast. I had a sausage omelette with potatoes. The food was very good as was the service. I would definitely eat here again. Nothing fancy, but very good

Visited from out of town. Saw this place nearby and saw it was overall well rated. While we had to wait because it was busy, we only waited 5 minutes. Service was friendly, quick, and competent. Prices were fair, food was simple and uncomplicated and tasty. The cornmeal pancakes were extra good and dense. Would definitely recommend.

I'm so excited that they have thin waffles. Their menu has lots of choices and it all looked delicious. What looked incredible was the Huevos Rancheros. Great coffee, and smiling service. It gets crowded so go at an off time to get a table. Sitting at the counter is a good option too.
