I had the special- vegetable harsh-so good. All their pastries and cakes are wonderful-- we especially love the lemon almond cake. I miss going back to Tea Room very much

We both enjoyed the food here, and the service was also pretty good even though it is self serve. You order at the counter, pay with cash or check (no credit cards), then pick your table. It was fairly crowded, but we had no problem getting a table. The food is then brought to you.... We also enjoyed it because... More

Drove from Texas to have breakfast here and it did not disappoint! The ingredients are fresh and the menu diverse. Loved the casual outdoor experience in the wonderful California sunshine. The menu is diverse, delicious and served hot. The smooth coffee creatively served in substantial cups (bowls!). It gets crowded but oh so worth it!

I was expecting more than I got due to the overboard reviews that raved how good this place is. The food was fine and the casual atmosphere was enjoyable, though I had been to a couple of other places in the area that the food was as good and they had full service.

Love it here. Food fabulous. Love the ambience and the only thing I would change is the cafe does not take credit cards but cash only....inconvenient if you go and are unaware of this when you order. As well, you can ot hold a table for friends to arrive - it is first come first served and can only be... More

Don't wait in lines for the café around the corner this place is the best. It has the freshest ingredients and staff that is hard working and enjoy what they do! The baristas make art out of the drinks they create, which makes it hard to drink them, but they're delicious as well so drink it! I had the goat... More

Several years ago while visiting Petaluma, we visited the Cafe Tea Room and loved it. This visit we decided to go back. The place has only gotten better! I wish it was close to us! We love it! The coffee (and you can fill your own cup) is excellent, the pastries delicious, and the food unique and wonderful. You can... More

A bit disappointed but the food was very reasonable. Come in, order, sit outside and they walk it out to you. Very good selection of sandwiches along with some pastries. Two issues: No wine (you ARE in Sonoma County) and no credit cards. Good for a quick bite.

I have seen this restaurant evolve into one of the best places to grab a delicious meal in Petaluma. The have a fun and quirky atmosphere (Alice in Wonderland themed bathrooms, and giant metal cow above the counter), a fabulous menu, great cooks, and friendly staff. Not super little baby friendly; no changing table in the bathrooms, but great for... More
