Each meal is greater than the last. I've been visiting Petaluma on weekends and I just keep going back to the Tea Room for breakfast. The first time around I had potato cakes, which weren't bad — just not my cup of tea (get it, at the Tea Room?) Dumb. Anyhow, the cinnamon toast is different and yummy, but the... More

Having just eaten at the Tea Room for breakfast this past week, it's as charming as ever, and the food continues to be good. That's a bonus because I suppose the food could really be quite bad, but I would still find this packed little tea house charming due to its hip, minimalist, yet quaint vibe. But the food is... More

SImply our favorite place for breakfast in Petaluma. The food is excellent and fresh. The cafe is comfortable and bright with natural sunlight. It can be busy during peak hours, but the wait is never too long even when busy. (The food is worth it!)

Very nice breakfast spot in out-of-the-way spot close to downtown. It's busy and you might have to wait but the breakfast is yummy. The menu is extensive and there are lots of choices for scrambles and omelettes. I find it relaxing to sit at a table on the sidewalk and watch the scene.

A wonderful spot to enjoy breakfast or lunch. Not quite the local secret any more. Food like it’s cooked at grandma’s house after she combined her old fashioned specialties with Ramekin’s cooking school. The prices are modest for the quality and portions. The friendly staff keeps busy making sure open tables are cleaned quickly. (it is open seating, as you... More

Delicious omelets, although my wife said hers had too much goat cheese. Too much goat cheese? How is that even possible? I'll take some off your plate! Fresh, delicious food. This was our second visit and we were not disappointed.

Good, made from scratch food with real ingredients. At 9 am on Sunday there were lines and no tables. Basics were solid (scrambled eggs with crispy potatoes and yummy bread with great raspberry jam, French toast in egg batter with nutmeg and possibly a hint of orange?) and Sunday omelet with avocado, goat cheese and basil pesto was rich and... We have lived in Petaluma for more than twenty years and the Tea Room is our favorite lunch spot. We go there all the time and are never disappointed. Breakfast is always good, but their lunch menu is the best with delicious sandwiches and salads. The CBC sandwich (that's chicken, bacon, cheddar) is my daughters favorite and I like to... More

Fresh, local, dependable. The only thing that's a bummer about this place is seating. It's hard to get a seat- go on a weekday and you will be ok. If you go on a sat or Sunday, you'll be waiting awhile for a table. It is worth the wait- the food is so delicious. I've been there several times and... More
