Went to Wild Goat for New Years eve dinner, service and food are always great. Yes it's small but we like it that way. Highly recommend

Old town Petaluma is so charming and picturesque that you really want a view and there are other resteurant s that have it all close by. But if you just want to eat it's fine.

This was a stupendous meal! First of all, I think our waiter was the best wait-person I've ever encountered, on Christmas Eve, no less. He was thoroughly invested in our experience. Every wine we sampled, and every dish he recommended was oh-my fabulous. I think I'm going back tomorrow!

We live only 10 minutes from the restaurant and have eaten there a couple of times in last month. Both times have been excellent - service is always really good, the food is excellent (I had the steak last time and it was melt in your mouth delicious). Menu is diverse and contains local, fresh ingredients and it definitely shows.... More

They served us the wrong dish. My husband asked for a pasta dish with meat and they gave him a vegetarian. Never came by to enquire and at the end of the evening asked us how it was. We told them of the mishap, they did not even bother to take the dish off the bill. We won't be back.... More

I always have great meals at Goat Bistro. Good wine list, good service, diverse menu. And the people there are super nice.

My wife and I enjoyed an excellent lunch at the Wild Goat. We especially liked the gluten. Free bread served with entrees.

After thirty something years of visiting Bodega Bay each year, it finally occurred to me that it might be interesting to check out restaurants in Petaluma (OK, I’m a little slow…) We’d eaten in Port Reyes Station, Santa Rosa, Windsor, Forestville and Occidental to name a few neighboring towns, but somehow we’d managed to avoid one of the closest and... This was my third time that I visited this restaurant in the last few years...and my LAST. The menu was totally different from the other visits and the food was not nearly as good as my other visits. Service was still O.K. , but there are MANY local restaurants in the Petaluma area that are far better that this revamped... More

My husband and I love Petaluma. It is a quaint unchanged lovely town. Warm and friendly and lively. That is why the experience we had at the Wild Goat Bistro was so horribly bizarre. We had a 6:00 reservation on a Saturday night. When we checked in we were told our table would not be ready for at least another... More
