Stillwater Bar & Grill - great food & views

We had lunch at the Stillwater Bar & Grill as part of the 17 Mile Drive and were seated by the window viewing the golf course and the sea panorama. We had the Californian Sole and the Dungeness Crab salad and these were both very well cooked and presented. Our host, Tony, was attentive and very... read more

The setting is spectacular and the staff are professional, knowledgeable and extremely helpful. We went there for the much hyped seafood. The local sole dish was delicious but the Dungeness crab salad was a real disappointment. Maybe our expectations were too high but the crab meat was severely under seasoned, the salad consisted of plain chopped Romaine lettuce, a couple... More

The menu isn't really extensive but it's good enough. You can sit inside and stay warm or eat on the patio overlooking the 18th hole and watch all the golfers and tourists act silly or hack at their golf balls. It's really scenic and relaxing. They stop seating for lunch at 3:00. After that it's a limited menu served on... More

There is no question the view over the 18th hole is beautiful. The lunch we had was very good (Seafood Paella and Fish & Chips). The service was very slow. They were moving (and dragging) tables and chairs in another part of the room that was distracting at best, and ruins the atmosphere. For a place of this class and... More

Visited for the Easter brunch. Could not have been more pleased with the selection and food quality. The staff was fantastic! Yes it was expensive but you get what you pay for, and everything was wonderful. Definitely worth a visit if heading to Pebble Beach.

Well how can you not wonder at the view! An endless succession of duffers screwing up the 18th at Pebble Beach while you munch on a lovely lunch sitting in The Lodge. This is a spot to visit to feel like you're a member of the 0.001% while not paying too much for the privilege. We did it on a... More

The restaurant has huge windows that overlook the 18th hole and the ocean. In the morning, it's hard to imagine a more perfect venue. Breakfast is tasty with some standards and some healthier options, but the best part is the service. Juan was the highlight of our experience every morning with his friendly demeanor and his willingness to accomodate everyone's... More

This is a great location with spectacular views. The service here is super attentive and food is very good. My gentleman and I frequent this restaurant for breakfast or lunch and it is always very good. Sometimes the portions are a little skinpy for the price tag, but the views make up for it. Definately a place for that special... More

Whilst visiting Pebble Beach we stopped here for lunch on what was luckily a sunny day. We had a table on the terrace overlooking the 18th hole which unfortunately was partly hidden due to the stands still in place after the recent pro-am. Nevertheless we had sun on our faces and a view of the sea. More importantly the food... More

Beautiful view with good service. The scallops are fabulous. The Terrace with two fireplaces is lovely for cocktails before dinner at Stillwater. It is especially nice at Christmas with the decorations.
