Bagpipes, Deers, and an awesome sunset

We came for the 5:45 bagpipe player - and he is there daily ! He plays on the green while all of us sat back and ordered drinks, and watched the deers co-mingle with the golfers as the sun slowly set. Ask to be seated outside if you love fire pits. They have a long rectangular pit, the only... read more

Excellent service, food, and view! We had drinks twice on the patio and breakfast once. You can bring your dog and just sit back and relax. One of my favorite spots ever!

I had lunch at Sticks with a friend who lives nearby and is a member of the club. The room is very pleasant with a terrific view but aside from that this place reminds me of every country club at which I have ever had a meal. The menu is loaded with the same things every other club has although... More

Best to bookend your day at Sticks - whether you're staying at The Inn at Spanish Bay or not. Grab an end-of round drink and listen to the bagpiper play on number one tee each evening around 6:00pm. Breakfast at Sticks is simply perfect - listening to the sounds of the waves hit the shoreline - with fresh, delicious breakfast... More

had lunch here after playing Spanish Bay, it was GREAT. Our waiter Craig was an excellent server who took care of our every need. We enjoyed it so much we had lunch there again the next day and were fortunate enough to have Craig again, this time sitting outside. Views are breathtaking as deer lunched on the fairway below while... More

Sticks doesn't have to be as good as it is but it is. It overlooks the Pacific Ocean at the northern end of Pebble Beach. Late in the afternoon, a bagpiper in full regala plays the pipes on the Spanish Bay golf course behind Sticks. You can enjoy the music and the surf with a glass of something and appetizers... More

We stopped by twice here, once for lunch and once for drinks and the service both times was EXCELLENT and the food for lunch was superb and not real expensive as expected because it was Pebble Beach. A definite GO TO PLACE!!!

What a beautiful afternoon by the sea. We had drinks with friends during the bagpipers performance. This is the place to be in the late afternoon!

What an incredible disappointment. First time there since new chef. My wife ordered the California burger in a lettuce wrap. She ordered it medium rare and it came out medium to medium well. We sent it back. The next time it came back absolutely raw, with a sear. That had to be deliberate, because no line cook should be employed... More

Went here for a light dinner. The service was ok. The food was ok. Nothing special. Two days later and I don't even remember what I ate!
