I attended a Birthday party June 29th at The Bench. I was told it was the old Club XIX at The Lodge and the Fire pits are a real draw. Beautiful view over the 18th hole, but the food was not up to par. I ordered the $28 chicken...it was rubbery and the small potatoes tasted and chewed like they... More

The Lodge at Pebble Beach Resort, The Bench, Pebble Beach, CA. The spot is lovely and our server, Vincent was good. We shared one order of mussels ($24) from Prince Edward Island, Canada in a very good broth, one baked Alaska (also very good) for $10 and one coffee ($3.75). A very nice lunch even though it was full of... More

We stopped in after the famous 17 Mile drive for drinks and margherita pizza. Spectacular views of the the golf course and the ocean do not disappoint. We were definitely tourists in a posh place - but we were treated as if we were Bing Crosby and friends. Thanks for a wonderful experience.

The bench at Pebble Beach is by far the families favorite spot to sip on cocktails and nibble on food. You sit outside right next to the 18th hole on the golf course. The view is spectacular! Make sure you try the Martinis and the Balloon bread appetizer! Probably the best martini I've ever had. The service is wonderful. You... More

Not pretentious at all. Had a delicious lemon lavender martini with vanilla bean sugar rim. And the setting is one of the most gorgeous you'll ever see.

Outside seating looking at the 18th green was perfect. Drinks were strong and fast service. The sun was setting and golfers were still coming in! Perfect after our round. Staff was excellent.

In Pebble Beach, there is high-priced golf, high-price shops and the high-priced Lodge, with a lot of high-priced people walking around.. However, on the ocean side of the Lodge is The Bench, a large, sun-lit room with indoor and outdoor eating overlooking the 18th hole of the links. The food is good, the prices are reasonable (I said "reasonable", not... More

We enjoyed drinks outside sitting around a gas fireplace watching the golfers finish their 18th hole. My husband said that this was one of the highlights of our trip (San Fran, Napa and Carmel). Previous reviews are right on. What more can you ask for...sitting in a beautiful location, enjoying a lovely drink, and sun setting in front of you.... More

We took our niece to celebrate her 30-the and almost nothing disappointed. Seated immediately and greeted warmly. Very attentive and very friendly service. From appetizers through to dessert virtually everything was spot on. The spectacle of the balloon bread is a fun start... Very fairly priced wine list. We had an Excellent Nero d'Avola for $38 that retails at $18-$20,... More
