Great food-Large servings

Broasted Chicken dinner was amazing. Feels like an ol' timey place, friendly service, more than enough food. There is a full bar and the drinks are on the "zestier" side, though well priced.

We stopped in for dinner, and were delighted. The food was awesome, from the Broasted Chicken, to the Prime Rib, and the Shrimp Pasta. Dessert included cheese cake and Creme Brulee. All was delicious. The atmosphere is down home and quaint. Would recommend! Our servers were prompt, courteous and funny! We ended the evening with a nice chat with the... More

Lazy H Ranch is a place that time forgot. The story is that this was once a gentlemans club in the old days and frequented by the likes of Hollywood legends like Lon Cheney and John Wayne. The rooms are darling, each with their own theme. My friends stayed in the Vintage Room and found it very comfortable and pleasant.... More

On a recent trip to CA we took our sister in law here for her birthday. A quaint little place out in the country, but good service and excellent food.

I recently had occasion to revisit the Lazy H and I hate to say the following because it used to be one of my favorite destinations. They are building some new motel units which are handicap suitable. The room was okay and well suited for my handicaps. The big disappointment came at dinner. We made a special attempt to be... The Lazy H Ranch is a little bit of heaven located in Pauma Valley, CA. The food is outstanding, especially on Friday or Saturday night when they feature a wonderful Prime Rib. Don't miss the Margaritas made with their own lemons which you can see growing just outside the bar. You won't believe the size, they look like grapefruits. The... More

You like Mad Men. You drink retro cocktails. You miss the idea of a proper dining room. The Lazy H Ranch Motel has a door into 1961. You'll find Henry at the bar, where he's been for 33 years. You'll find outstanding Margaritas. You'll find a "traditional" menu, in that there is no "extract of This in a coulis of... More

We go to Lazy H all the time. The best 'broasted chicken' anywhere. Old world ambience at a place that was once a destination for Hollywood types. Small, clean, old-world motel and restaurant with dozens of hummingbirds feeding just outside the windows of the bar. We miss our favorite waitress - Marilyn - but the food is as good as... More

The Lazy H Ranch takes amazing care of their grounds. Everywhere you look you see beautiful lush landscaping and amazing views of Pauma Valley. The food at the restaurant is amazing, I have had nearly everything on the menu and have never been disappointed. If you stop by during the weekend I recommend the prime rib, it's awesome. The staff... More
