this is the real deal. great food and friendly service. we each got a plate from the breakfast menu and the lunch menu and both we're fantastic! cute little diner with more food than I could eat. the biscuits and gravy were as good as what I've read about and the people were friendly and courteous and even met our... So I want to start that the food was delicious. However the service was not so courteous. When asked to make the 49ers breakfast a certain way, the waitress flatly pointed out no it can't be done that way. It has been done before but I guess she didn't know. It just made for an uncomfortable experience. Smh.

We stopped in for breakfast and left entirely satisfied. Except I keep thinking we should've bought one of the freshly baked pies to take home. The omelets with home fries were delicious and filling, in fact so filling we were too full to eat the sides. Those we boxed for later. Do choose the biscuit or the blueberry muffins over... More

We had a group of 8 plus one baby. They made us comfortable and let us linger over a late brunch. The service was great and all of the breakfasts top of the line. We'd come back anytime. This would be a definite stop next time we are back on the Central Coast.

On aa trip to Paso Robles we discovered Vic's Cafe. We ate there twice for breakfast. I had trout, eggs, and potatoes one day, and the meal was fabulous. It is a great value place that should be visited, if you are in the area.

On advice from my daughter, we went to Vic's for breakfast. Our service was a bit slow but the place was packed and everybody was hustling. I loved the quaint neighborhood ambience. The staff recognized my daughter and her family and doted on her two children, serving a Mickey Mouse shaped pancake at my granddaughter's request. This appeared to be... More

Remember those old movies where the waitress had a snappy come-back to all the locals? And you got what you ordered quickly and the food was good? Vic's has been in Paso for over 50 years. The food, while updated, still has many of the old favorites that locals adored, along with a few updated salads and entrees. Parking was... More
