My wife and I had dinner at Berry Hill on a Tuesday evening. The ambiance was very nice with some nice jazz music playing. The restaurant is across from the park, or square, downtown. My wife had a calamari steak which was outstanding. I had a flat iron steak which was also excellent and done to perfection. They have an... More

Good food, good service, and pleasant surroundings all lead to a better than average meal at Berry Hill. We enjoy either the hamburger with sweet potato fries or the excellent grilled cheese sandwich. Reasonable selection of beer and wine. Plates are large so you can split a sandwich or take some home.

We spent two days in the Paso Robles area wine tasting. We remembered a good restaurant on our last visit and so we went back to the Berry Hill Bistro across from the park in downtown Paso Robles and selected a table inside. I ordered the seared ahi tuna which came with a red and green cabbage salad wit a... More

First time for me eating at Berry Hill Bistro and not the last. I was very surprised that it was VERY good food and service. I don't find a lot of Bistro's that has good food or have good service. They always miss on one of my must haves. Small but not to small, tables far a part so you... More

Stopped by for an el fresco lunch before the movie today. The place was on my list to visit for a while, so I finally did it. I had the Turkey Ortega--house roasted turkey breast, mild ortega chili, fontina, mayonnaise & dijon mustard served on grilled sourdough, with a side of asian cole slaw, and an iced tea. Everything was... More

We ate here twice during our vacation. Food was very good both times. Ate inside once and outside one. Service was a little slow when we were outside.

We were served a late lunch at 4:30 pm on a Tuesday. There was not much else open ion the village green in Paso Robles at that hour. Two of us had fantastically crispy fish and chips made with fresh hand dipped cod. The other diner had a very good steak sandwich was big enough to make a tasty leftover... More

We had the beet salad and a ahi tuna open-faced sandwich, as well as a glass of local Sauvignon Blanc. The beets were canned, most likely, and the salad was from a package. Luckily there was chicken in the salad which was edible. The ahi tuna was perfectly done and smothered with caramelized onions. The wine, which our server told... More

Back again at the Berry Hill and had the great Suzanne as our waitress. She made me a killer Millionaire Margarita and we ordered a BLTA (bacon, lettuce, tomato, avacodo) This is amazing as the flavors burst in your mouth on the first bite. The French Fries are really hot and freshly cut. Highly recommend this place for lunch! Portions are large!... More

We've been there fairly regularly and have enjoyed several items on their menu. If you can, con't miss their ribs. My wife is the only one who makes them better!
