Good variety of Thai food on menu. Four people in our party. All entrees were delicious. Wait staff were courteous and friendly

I had been to Basil on multiple occasions and been disappointed. However I have been hearing good things and decided to give it another try. I was very pleasantly surprise on the food had improved greatly and showed much more creativity and authentic Thai flair than previously. I will return. The atmosphere is and has been nice, now they have... More

Basil sits right on the park in downtown Paso Robles -- ideal spot to people watch and have a relaxing dinner. Fresh, flavorful thai food, seafood and a good wine list, showcasing the Paso wines. Have eaten here several times through the years and always leave with good memories!

A very good meal and reasonably priced. The salmon was superb as was the lamb shank. They seem to do quite a bit of take away. Always trust the locals. This a great place if you're in the mood for something different.

We regularly enjoy having dinner at Bail Thai. The food is consistently excellent and the service is outstanding. Be warned, it can be very busy on weekend nights as it's located right on the park and is frequented by locals as well as visited by folks from out of town. A couple favorites on the menu are the pineapple curry... More

My husband and I enjoy sharing Asian cuisine with each other when we dine out. The portions here are large enough to split entrees and generally come with your choice of steamed white or brown rice. Try the Spicy Red Curry (seafood and chicken combination is our favorite)! TIP: We let them know if we're headed to the movies after... More

We enjoyed this Thai restaurant overlooking the square in town (a park like setting). This was our second time here for dinner. We order a soup which was great. Served in an heated bowl. We also ordered the Pad Thai and it was just ok. It was a little dry, but still good. I had a ginger tea which was... More

I went her with my fiancee and her family plus a couple of friends. Great atmosphere, good food. It was kind of expensive for what we got, even though we did a bunch of food sharing to bring the price down. I would go back.

We had a few locals steer us here for dinner on a recent visit. We started with the "Golden Bags" for an appetizer. Great flavor. I had the Beef Flambe which was yummy. The sauce was delicious, the meat tender and vegetables tender-crispy. My husband had the Sweet Crispy Basil which was also delicious. He ordered his spicy which was... More

We arrived in Paso Robles late on vacation and didn't realize many of the restaurants in the square closed early (9pm) during the week. However, Basil was kind enough to accommodate us with a quick order before the kitchen closed. Since it was so late, we decided on a couple of appetizers. The fresh rolls were fabulous and tasty. And... More
