When we are in the area, we always visit Villa Creek. The menu items are innovative and change seasonally. This stop we shared the Chili and it was fabulous. The dish had some heat but it was quite tolerable. We also shared the duck nachos which was delicious. The portions are large and the food is well priced. The service... More

Had reservations for anniversary... We were sat next to a very loud party and couldn't hear ourselves... Portions are small for what you pay for. Yet another pretentious wine country restaurant in Paso

Just order them. Right now. Stop reading. Are they ordered? Good, then we can continue. My wife had the mushroom "Bolognese" which really did taste meaty, and I'm not even a mushroom fan. I had the short rib which was very well done. We finished with the steamed chocolate cake/peanut butter mousse/salted carmel gelato combo platter which was very good.... More

We had a delicious dinner here last night. The staff was very attentive without being intrusive or hovering about our table which can be so annoying; the meal was excellent. I had tuna with pine nuts, golden raisins, and red pepper flakes with linguini and my husband had a pork chop with apples and sauerkraut. Both meals were plated nicely... More

We were a party of 5 and liked the idea of small plates (tapas). There was a wonderful and unique variety of fresh foods. The flavors were incredible and the presentation was first class. Our favorites were the warm lemon Castelvatranos (Italian olives), Catalan spinach with raisins and pine nuts, Mushrooms Escabeche, Steamed Mussels in lemon-grass coconut broth, hatch green... More

After we shared a glass of wine at the Pony Club before dinner, we left the patio and started to stroll up Pine Street. The blast of hot buttered popcorn from the movie theater tickled our noses and we thought, should we skip dinner and do a movie and junk food night instead? But, we remembered that Taco Tuesday at... My husband and I had wine and appetizers in the bar. The service was excellent. They have a nice wine list. We enjoyed the appetizer of cheese, dried fruit, olives, etc.

It had been several years since my Wife & I ate at Ville Creek and we were a bit disappointed. The wine prices seemed extremely high in comparison to numerous other fine dining spots in Paso Robles. We selected from the Tuesday Tapas special menu which is quite reasonable and seemed to be the only draw for that night. All... More

The overall atmosphere is a bit dark and sterile. However, I had to write about the Hatch Chile Soup! The first bite of this soup is a flavor explosion! Topped with a fried egg, the taste of the chiles and tenderness of the pork will have you questioning whether to order another and forgo the main entrée. After visiting NM... More
