We were so looking forward to this restaurant and were quite disappointed. We had the tasting menu with wine. The service was extremely disappointing. The staff seemed bored and offered us no description of what they were serving. We had to call the wine server back twice because he mumbled something as he poured the wine and took off before... Great chef's tasting menu which can be paired with wine. Food and presentation extremely well done. Service also extremely well done. Wine list is extensive so if you're a serious wine person, I'd suggest using their web site to study ahead of time.

Delicious in every way. Beautiful , classy dining room. EXCELLENT SERVICE. First class ingredients served in a beautifully creative way. Every bite was OH LA LA..C'est Bon. One of us had the tasting menu and the other ordered off of the menu. No complaints here. This will be our place to DINE, when in Paso Robles.

My husband and I had dinner here during a weekend in Paso Robles. We went with the chefs choice 4 course option. The food was delicious and the wine pairings spot on. After our meal we asked the host to call a taxi. As this was wine fest weekend he thought would be a Long wait. The owner gave permission... More

This is authentic French Cuisine with a minor exception. I had an excellent Croque Monsier, while my wife has the shrimp; which we accompanied with a bottle of Badoit... My only criticism is that a true salad Nicoise should not be made with fresh tuna, but rather canned tuna!

We did the tasting menu and my husband had the wine as well. He was able to try wines that he had never had from both the US and Europe. The chef choices gave us a chance to try new things as well which we enjoyed very much.

What a welcome lunch surprise... an excellent and authentic French country cafe/bistro in Paso. We had two daily specials: a succulent Beef Marengo, braised with superb sauce, and a king salmon, again with tasty sauce. The ghost of Julia smiles. When we wander up from Santa Barbara we have a new destination.

A group of 6 of us tried the four course dinner with wine pairings-wow what a great choice! Excellent food, great service, and the wine pairings were perfect. The maître d (Sommelier) was very knowledgeable about both the food and wine. Highly recommend!

I've eaten dinner here several times in the past but stopped for lunch that particular day. Seated on the patio where it's called Le Petit Marcel.Young, enthusiastic, very bright server who was quite helpful. I had the special smoked salmon salad, pommes frites and the berry clafoutis with ice cream. A reasonably priced bottle of a Clavo albarino (which was... More

Wine touring with another couple, this was our final evening in Paso. On an unseasonably warm May evening, we chose a table on the covered patio beside the restaurant. After being seated and seemingly forgotten, we were eventually "discovered" and all went well from there. The server volunteered that all the items listed on the tasting menu could also be... More
