Another great dinner

Good cold tap beers with about 6 - 8 choices. My wife had the toasted cheese sandwich with Tomato soup which is really nicely done. The have bacon and tomato shown on it on the new menu but you can get it with just the 2 or 3 kinds of cheese that come on it and a great toasted bread.... read more

This is our favorite place when visiting Paso on a golf excursion. It has a wonderful bar with a great selection of whiskeys. Nice live music complements your drink and meal. The service is friendly and the pub menu is terrific. Try the steak wedge salad with Bleau cheese.

We hadn't been to Pappy McGregor's in quite some time and I'm glad we decided to go back this afternoon!! I had the pulled pork/Black Forest ham sandwich and it was excellent!! Their garlic fries are wonderful! My husband had a bowl of their sirloin (I believe) chili and he really liked it. My sandwich was so big that I... More

I'm so glad your first return visit was such a delicious success! Sometimes nothing quite hits the spot like a ham sandwich and a platter of garlic fries. Hope your next trip to see us is sooner rather than later! All the best, Donovan, Owner More

We went here for lunch and despite it not being very busy the service was rather slow. After our burgers and drinks arrived, we did not see the waitress until we were completely finished and we both would have ordered another drink if we had had a chance, We ordered a burger and fries, for $14 each. We thought the... More

Glad you loved your fries, but of course I'm sorry to hear that you were less impressed with your burger. That's definitely not the usual reaction to our food, and I encourage you to let your server know if something's not to your liking so we can help you find something else you'll love. Perhaps there's another dish just waiting... More

Had a nice meal. The Kobe beef hamburger was delicious as were the sweet potato fries. But the entire dining experience took two hours! Very slow - glad we were not in a hurry.

While I'm happy to hear that you loved your burger and fries, Jack, I'm disappointed to hear that you had to deduct a couple of points for our slow service. It's true that our place can get a bit packed during peak hours, but that's certainly no excuse for keeping you waiting like that. I hope you'll give us another... More

We visited Pappy's after a long day of wine tasting. The food was amazing for a pub and the staff wonderful and fun. After dinner we had great fun dancing to the awesome dj. A very mixed fun crowd with great food and adult beverages... Visiting Pappy McGregor's is must if visiting Paso. I will definitely be back ★★

We have been going to this establishment for years. Even so we were descriminated. Our server was no where to be found and when we did find her she told us to wait. Then the staff including management treated us unjustly. On top of it all the food took a long time. Even thought there food is good there no... More

I'm extremely concerned to read this review, because this just doesn't sound like us at all. We always want you to feel welcomed and well-cared-for, and we would never discriminate against any guest for any reason. It sounds like there must have been some kind of miscommunication here, and I'd really like to get to the bottom of what went... More

Business lunch mid-day on a Thursday. Solid food and, though the service was a bit slow, the food was quite good. Prices were reasonable and, being on the square made the meeting easily accessible and pleasant. Although the menu is described as "pub fare", it is pretty darn tasty. Unfortunately, the back patio was not available due to a shortage... More

Went to eat a late lunch, around 2pm. Wasn't too busy. The food was really good but the server disappeared after we got our food. We asked for an extra napkin and she never came back. But if I'm ever back in this area I would consider eating here again.

The kilt wearing staff was very good and attentive. Sat at the bar and couldnt decide on what to eat. Everything I seen served was well presented. Be careful about Hot Wings. Franks Hot Wings are hotter than Franks Hot Sauce. So beware. Nice plsce with a cool crowd of people
