Great Food, Wine, & Dog Friendly

We recently stopped for dinner and the waiter not only catered to our every need but took care of our little dog as well. The wine list was superb, the fresh fish and melon salad were to die for, and I just can't say any more. It was warm and welcoming not to mention how great the food was. A... read more

From other reviews, I didn't expect as sophisticated and pretty a place as this. The prices were very reasonable (but we come from SF) for the well-presented, tasty food we received. My Lemon-Herb Grilled Chicken Wrap was served with a salad, and was plentiful enough to share.

This restaurant is wonderful! Very intimate atmosphere made for a very romantic dinner. The food was exquisite. Good Pinot Noir selection. The crème brûlée was super tasty. Will definitely be back here next time we're in the area.

We had a lovely dinner at Robert's. Being a local, I especially appreciate their daily specials - it's always a fun and delicious discovery to see what has inspired the chef for the day. I love the fact that they let me have a "taste" of the wine I think I want to order, before committing to a glass or... More

Nice comfortable restaurant with good service. The special lamb pops were fabulous, unfortunately for several at our table we ordered the chicken Picatta and it was too salty. We brought our own wine and paid the $15 corkage fee.

We stopped here for lunch upon high recommendation from family. It was well furnished, white table cloths and comfy chairs. We ordered the crab cakes, which was the only disappointment as they were primarily bread filling, little crab that was all in beaten into the bread mixture. A "frozen, "off the shelf" type of crab cake. The rest of the... More

After walking around downtown on a beautiful (albeit a tad warm) July weekday, we decided we had to make a choice of where to eat - there are so many restaurants here to choose from! Using Trip Advisor as our guide - plus our own perusal of menus and just plain instinct - we chose Robert's. Couldn't have made a... More

We stopped for a late lunch en route to Santa Barbara. We were very pleasantly greeted. The dining room is gracious... The chairs make you feel at home. For lunch my husband and I shared Bacon wrapped scallops in a rumaki sauce and a very generous club sandwich. The mayonnaise and bread were home made. Staff is friendly and professional.

We both had great appetisers and shared a dessert. My pork chop was excellent, and a large portion size, whilst my girlfriend enjoyed the lamb. Our waitress was very nice and attentive, and the wine was decent and local. The only downside: the restaurant was almost empty and that, combined with the slightly sterile decor, made for a surprising lack... More
