My boyfriend and I came here for dinner to celebrate my birthday - we were in town for the weekend and wanted a relaxed yet romantic dinner. We came Sunday night around 7pm and was able to get right in. Our table was out back, off to the right. The noise level was perfect- there were many tables filled, but... More

We spent the last week going to the 'best' and most expensive restaurants in LA and this was the meal that we enjoyed the most. Beautifully cooked mahi mahi, perfect service and it's own unique atmosphere just a shame we are only passing through. Very good value for money.

This was our first time at this restaurant and we were pleasantly surprised at the food, service, and ambience. This is a cozy restaurant with a casual elegance (linen tablecloths, but shorts are ok!). Our party arrived at 5 pm for an early dinner and soon after the place filled up with locals. Obviously a popular place! The food was... More

If you want fine dining when staying in Paso Robles, Robert's is the place to dine. We had one of the best dining experiences that we have had during our travels to various parts of the country. The entree options were varied and quite reasonably priced. The coho salmon entree that we enjoyed was one of the best salmon dishes... More

Many of the items on the menu are found at other restaurants, but rarely are they prepared as well as at Robert's. We had lunch here on our way to Cayucos. That meal was so impressive we drove half an hour one evening to have dinner here and were not disappointed. It seems that everything they prepare is really good.

We come to Paso twice a year from San Diego and stop in at Roberts every visit. We have never had a bad meal. The food is very good and so is the service.

The service was excellent. We had tickets to a concert so we made a 5:00 reservation. I was surprised at how many tables had filled up by 5:30. By the end of our meal, I knew why this placed filled up. The service is excellent, attentive and professional. The food was absolutely divine. I recommend going to Robert's when in... More

Honestly, my husband and I drive up and down highway 101 between Los Angeles and San Francisco or the Monterey Peninsula at least six times a a year. We've always stopped briefly at the Halcyon Exit in Arroyo Grande for coffee or a quick bite, imagining we have some compelling reason to rush the drive. A couple of days ago... More

We visited here on our anniversary with a few friends. It was extremely pleasant to be able to sit and talk to each other without having to yell. The food was very well prepared. The staff was friendly and efficient. Definitely one to return to.

On a recent trip, we had lunch at Robert's twice, because our first experience was so good. We ate outdoors, the wine list of wines by the glass was perfect (and the waiters were very knowledgeable about it). The Mahi-Mahi tacos were perfection, so were the crab cakes and the cheese plate. The service was excellent. Perfect venue for a... More
