On a recent trip, we had lunch at Robert's twice, because our first experience was so good. We ate outdoors, the wine list of wines by the glass was perfect (and the waiters were very knowledgeable about it). The Mahi-Mahi tacos were perfection, so were the crab cakes and the cheese plate. The service was excellent. Perfect venue for a... More

The last time we were passing through the area we scoped the place out but settled on an old standby. With hindsight this was a mistake--we now have a new old standby. On this visit at first blush we again thought that the dinner house decor didn't quite fit with our plans for a more casual lunch spot on day... More

We were a large group and visited in July of 2014. The food was very, very good and the service was outstanding. It is difficult to please each one of six people, but Robert's staff was able to do so. There are people in the area who will not go to this restaurant, but I believe that that is a... More

Consistently top shelf. Highly recommend. Menu is not inexpensive but worth it for us. Service staff and owner are excellent!

Our server, Robert, spoiled us the entire evening. Everything was delightful, from the interesting and artfully prepared food, to the sinfully delicious complimentary anniversary dessert. We loved the wine selection, and the opportunity to try such a variety. A beautifully decorated space, we look forward to another meal here. Classy.

The hubs and I were visiting from the Bay Area to wine taste in the area and were most happy to dine at Robert's, after a hard day's tasting! I'd made reservations in advance, right from the review page on TA, which was a nice convenience. We were seated immediately and yup, you guessed it...ordered a couple of glasses of... More

Wasn't our first choice, however we had a lovely meal. Food has some interesting and thoughtful touches. Enjoyed my salad starter, despite what I took to be tinned mandarins, and the dressing was amazing. Wish I had remembered previous comments I'd read about the over peppered steaks. Wow, mine (prime rib) had certainly been seasoned, whereas the fillet wasn't. Shame... More

Roberts is a classy and sophisticated gem. Great atmosphere. Service was friendly and efficient! Menu was varied and all our food was great. Arugula salad particularly tasty. Wine by the glass was very generous! Highly recommended!!

After reading that this restaurant is considered to be the number 1 in Paso Robles in Trip Advisor I thought it time to try it. I ordered the Cezar salad. Nice dressing. In a restaurant of this caliber I expect green lettuce, not all white. My wife had the beef stroganoff over a pasta. The beef was completely dried out.... More
