So we checked this place out after a referral from another winery in the area. We were looking for a place to eat lunch and taste some wine. Well, this is the spot for both! Cass is tucked away on a back country road and from first appearance looks like an old cattle ranch. They have a marvelous outdoor patio... More

They have a beautiful outdoor setting where you can order lunch to pair with your food. They poured at the tables, which was nice and relaxed. The staff was friendly and well-informed about the wines.

This winery is in a fairly remote area and if you're hungry, you'll really enjoy the availability of tasty food. You can do a wine tasting along with lunch and they have an inside area, and a shady patio. The burger and pulled pork are both tasty, and come with a nice side salad. Service is friendly and efficient. Since... More

When you visit Paso Robles for wine tasting, there are very few restaurants outside the city core and thus you need to know where they are unless you will always be toting a picnic. Cass is a gem of an oasis on the Backroads wine tour south of the Union Road wine circuit. The lunch is great and we split... More

We decided to come here on a Sunday afternoon for lunch. It's a nice, winding drive in the country to get to Cass Winery in east Paso. We went inside the tasting room and told them we were there for wine tasting and lunch. We had a choice of indoor tables in the tasting room or outdoors on the patio... More

Traveling from Monterey on 101 south we decided to stop at Cass Winery. We heard that they had some extraordinary wines and an appetizing lunch menu. Our family of four had enjoyed the bruchetta, crab cakes , chicken salad and organic beef burger. You can sit outside and taste the wines while eating lunch. The property is beautiful and peaceful.... More

Cass is out in the country and serves several delicious entrees on their patio. Meals run about $20 which includes the wine tasting, and if you buy a bottle your meal is half price. Excellent food, delicious wines, and gorgeous surroundings. Definitely worth the drive!

This place is hard to find (bring a GPS), but once there, it's just delightful - from the wonderful wines, to the delicious food made right on the premises, to the wait staff, to the whole enviornment - just a wonderful way to spend a couple hours.

This is unusual for the Paso area because their tasting are paired with tapas-sized (not styled) food, in some rather ingenious combinations. Great place for a very relaxing wine tasting, lovely grounds, and very good wines.

We found CASS by accident and we are so happy we did. We love their laid back, slower way of wine tasting. Get the cheese tray that is paired with their wines and also order a loaf of bread. If you get a chance check out their library - it's beautiful! Of course the wines are wonderful. I am usually... More
