One of Many Great Restaurants in Paso Robles

This was my second trip to Il Cortile and was by far the better of the two! The Caprese salad was incredible, the mozzarella was creamy and flavorful and the heirloom tomatoes were out of this world! The pasta with a veal reduction was a special that evening and was so good it should be put in... read more

Il Cortile got rave reviews from the Creekside B&S and from its sister restaurant (of course). It did not live up to our expectations. The dining room was uninteresting; the waitstaff unpardonable; and the food unmemorable. (Literally, I can't remember what I had!) There are starting to be some excellent restaurants and dining experiences in Paso Robles, this just isn't... More

Celebrated our wedding anniversary here. We had a very good dinner. The high point was the risotto. The service was excellent. We ate in the "patio" area. It was nice being outside but don't expect a beautiful view other than your dining partner--the restaurant is on a side street and all you'll see are some uninteresting buildings across the street.

If there are any negatives here it was that we felt just a little rushed. But maybe that was me. Other than that the service and food was excellent. Wished we would have sat outdoors. My wife's filet was the best topped with a semi sweet peppercorn sauce. Superb. My fish dish with risotto was tops. Try the Jack Creek... More

We were attending a musical event so we tried an early dinner here due to the #1 Trip Advisor rating. Located in ever-emerging and improving downtown Paso Robles, this smallish place has about 14 tables inside and another 6-8 outside in a patio area facing 12th Street. At first we were seated near the door but asked to move to... More

This was our least favorite restaurant during our recent trip to Paso Robles (see separate reviews of Roberts Restaurant and Thomas Hill Organics). The food was pretty good and the service was okay; however, neither was stellar which is what we would have expected from the #1 rated restaurant in Paso. The tables are tiny and too close together. We... More

We dined here on Friday, we were not able to get a Reservation because we weren't sure where we would be in Paso exactly, so we went in at 6.15....there were two seats available at the bar so we took them. Lucky for us, because we were served by Brooke who was tending the Bar. She was awesome and knew... More

This restaurant is one block away from the Paso Robles Inn and was fully booked all night. The food is delicious, wonderful to look at and the service is great. Certainly not cheap but worth every penny.

Standout restaurant in a town of great restaurants First, the staff was very professional, the ambiance is modern and friendly, Santos the owner chef is both talented and personable and when you put that all together, you get excellence. My wife and I heard that there was an excellent Italian restaurant and it didn't disappoint. We started with the octopus... More

Fancy restaurant for Paso Robles. Just off the main town square. A restaurant for foodies with prices to match. Nice outdoor seating. Good local wine list.
