Using local ingredients the dishes are well complimented by the local wines offered. Our server was knowledgable about both the food and wines, and her advice was perfect. My Caprese salad with local tomatoes and buratta was delicious, as was the risotto with shaved black truffles. My husband's rack of lamb was so tasty he wanted to chew on the... More

Visiting my daughter, I wanted to plan a special evening together and selected Il Cortile after studying Trip Advisor. Setting was nice, upscale, loud and merry- I like. Waitress was great, but main dishes- Seabass on dry side and braised pork was average - were disappointing. However, the truffle scallop appetizer was delicious, should have ordered 5 more and stopped... More

We celebrated our anniversary dinner here. I decided I wanted the octopus appetizer and my husband had the pasta. He enjoyed his pasta but my grilled octopus was way over cooked. If I worked there I wouldn't have served them because they were obviously over cooked. the desserts were very good and the wine selection was nice. Good atmosphere, prompt... More

Nice smaller restaurant that can get noisy when full. Food and service quite good and have location down on the square. Try the Osso Bucco.

Dined here in Mid September. It was last minute and we just walked in to see if we could be seated on the patio. They were very accommodating and seated us right away. We decided to each try a different pasta dish. We were very happy with our selections. One was Pasta al Bortarga. Bortarga is the dried row (... More

The menu was varied and creative, but when our dinners arrived they were both unbearably salty. The server was gracious and professional and did not charge us. Hopefully it was just a bad night for the chef.

I made a reservation through open table a week in advance. I reccommend reservations since they seem to be very busy. The decor is nice and clean. Classic Modern Italian Bistro, White linen dining. They have a very nice patio. It looks like this restaurant could be in downtown San Francisco. The Menu had a good mix and options for... More

We were here in March 2013. It was one of our many visits to Paso and we felt like Italian food. The food and wine was a perfect blend to a lovely evening with our good friends. Be sure to put it on your list. You won't be disappointed.

How I remember those ravioli's.. the staff was so warm and inviting. The food was the best. Can't wait to come back after another day of wine tasting. This was a really great night.

Superb menu, superb food, superb wine, superb service, superb setting! Enjoy a meal as if you're in Tuscany. The seafood appetizer and osso buco, along with everything else at the table, were wonderful. Just go, and trust the servers. You will not be disappointed!
