We jumped in here from the busy too crowded streets of Colorado Blvd. on a Saturday night. We grabbed two seats at the bar, and enjoyed great service, ice cold beer and flaming hot chili. Worth a visit if you are in the area.

If you are a sports fan you will love this place. Cool surroundings with a fussball game and pool tables. Decent food if you're not counting calories or fat grams. HUGE glasses of wine!

Friday/Saturday Karaoke in the basement. They also do trivia nights, comedy shows etc upstairs. The upstairs is expansive with lots of pool tables. The dingy basement screams dive bar. Watch a game on the main floor on the bar's big screen(s) or on one of the TVs that is present at every table. Happy hour food and drinks are an... More

We went on a weekday after the lunch rush. Since we were some of the only customers in the place the waitress took extra time to tell us the history and the stories behind the license plates covering the walls and ceilings. We also got a guided tour of the building and heard about its history. The menu had many... More

In Pasadena for the BCS National Championship Game and looking for some food after flying to California from South Florida, took a walk along the street in Pasadena and got the recommendation for this place from some of the High School Student Ambassadors. You won't find fine cuisine here, but you can't beat the fun atmosphere. There are TV's on... More

Good people watching. Fun sports bar atmosphere and gets in the crowds. Lots of fun local beers on draft. Food was good, but a bit pricey. There were a lot of areas that we did not explore, upstairs and downstairs had seating, but were not staffed.

I was trying really hard not to write this review but it just keeps coming back to my memory when someone brings up this place. Note: I have been here before and in all the times I have it's been a pleasurable experience. So we came to watch the UFC Fight in October 2013. I expected the place to be... More

Lucky us we came at about 1:00 pm on a Friday. The nooners were gone. The after worker drinkers had not arrived. While we certainly didn't have the place to ourselves, it was the perfect time to have a casual late lunch in anticipation of that night's UCLA football game. There is a reason this is called a "beanery" although... More

I have been here several times and always enjoyed it. Here is why you might want to go here: 1) Good food - I have only had the burgers here but they are pretty tasty - although not cheap. 2) Really nice décor - this is an interesting looking place with a nice atmosphere and plenty of things to keep... Every MLB game was available; many many TVs at the bar and the booths. Try the appetizers before ordering the entrees; HUGE portions, you might not need to order more than that. Ask for Angie or Danielle at the bar!
