Got a breakfast wrap. I thought it was overpriced a bit. Since there are a few other places, will try other places also. But a good atmosphere if you are going with friends or with families. Tables a bit small.

This is no reflection on the nice waiter. I went in to Russell's on 2/25/2014 and chose the Lamb Shank from the menu. At almost $18.00, I expected something halfway decent. YUK! It is pre-cooked so they warm it up. it comes slathered in gravy so that the mash potatoes were drowned. Not a hint of the mint sauce it... More

Food is standard American breakfast fare, oily, not spectacular but spectacularly overpriced. I cook better than this. It wasn't bad, but not at all worth any money. I actually appreciated the 1 hr long wait mid Saturday morning, we had a great time talking! Weather beautiful for just chatting outside. But I'd hazard a guess that in most situations this... More

January 2nd- one day after the Rose Bowl Victory, we tried Russell's for Breakfast. Parking is good. They will validate. The wait for two was horrible- 60 minutes. So...another couple went inside at the same tiime I did and asked how seating was at the counter. First Come, First Served. They waited five minutes and we were seated right behind... More

We walked past and noticed people waiting so thought we would join the queue! After a half hour wait we were served a really good American breakfast - perfect for our family of hungry boys... Good service and great atmosphere. Reasonably priced.

Great spot for breakfast, especially if you’re staying at the Courtyard Marriott just up the street. My wife enjoyed the Belgium waffle – light, delicate and delicious (get the real maple syrup for $1 extra). I had blueberry pancakes – also excellent. Another day, the oatmeal plus, with raisins, blueberries and granola, was just the right start to the day.... More

We decided to have lunch here. There was quite a line around 10:30 so we went ahead and put our name in, were told it would be an hour which was fine. We browsed the farmer's market while waiting. Once inside, the restaurant was totally filled with a line outside. Most were having breakfast. I tried the spaghetti with meat... More

Good portions and nice selection of menu items. I enjoyed the multigrain and nut pancakes and corned beef hash. The pancakes were just about perfect and the hash done in house. Neither of us finished our meals. Not an adventurous menu, just plain good.

Bacon, eggs and hash browns are a fairly simple, standard breakfast choice. Here everything was done to perfection, the serving of hash browns was huge, and it all came out of the kitchen in record time. There is a parking garage in the next block.

Our son goes to Caltech so we find ourselves in Pasadena a couple of times a year. Russell's is our all-time favorite breakfast spot in Pasadena. The service has always been excellent and the food matches the service. Breakfast menu is broad with all of your traditional favorites. I always go for some type of omelette with their crispy hash...
