The owner is rude, the food is awful, very over priced and above all the place Smells of urine. It is a want to be English High Tea but comes comes off phony. We were warned to arrive early, found the door locked and were made to wait at least 5-7 minutes outside. We're seated late and the room was... More

I LOVE Mary & Edmond Fry! When you come to RTC, it is like going to their home. You call ahead for tea as they plan for your arrival. Snow, the kitty, greats you and hopes for some cream with tea. Made fresh each day, they serve wonderful tea sandwiches, scones, clotted cream, and yummy treats for dessert. Tea is... More

I flew in from Colorado to attended a tea. I thought it was very English. If you want to attended a tea like the English then this is a must go to place. Edmond the owner treats you like royalty.

I had a horrible time here. An old and dusty place. My allergies were bad. I am glad I did not eat here. The place smells bad. I don't care how small a place can be as longer is clean. This was not the case. This was not the place for me. MD

We have been to Rose Tree Cottage twice - once to buy a Barbour jacket for my wife and once for the Jubilee Tea yesterday. Both were wonderful experiences. Edmund really knows his stuff about Barbours and the tea was simply fantastic - great food, delicious tea and excellent service, all in a real British quirky atmosphere. If you are... More

Edmund ,Mary, and Staff brilliantly continue their lovely tea tradition in Enchanting English Cottage style and surroundings. There is no end to yummy treats delivered elegantly to your table. Somehow hot tea is always poured without interrupting conversation during this treasured time away from our hurried days. Beyond the tea room, the availability of all things UK past and present... I truly enjoyed my "tea" experience last Saturday. The food was one of the best I have had for a high tea. The Yorkshire puddings with sauteed mushrooms were to die for as were the tea sandwiches, scones and sticky pudding. I was so full and couldn't stop eating. Don't expect a hotel tea where you have the option of... More

I love the experience of going to tea and the Rose Tree Cottage has slid into an abysmal hole. We had a 1p reservation and were told to be there at 1245p. When we arrived the door was locked and we were finally admitted and told that the dining room wasn't ready and we should shop. When the door opened... More

Authentic English Tea, done as if one was in the UK. Edmund and Mary Fry, the proprietors, are gracious, welcoming, and serve high tea as it should be. The home made scones are a delight, and the sticky toffee pudding the best I've ever tasted. The atmosphere is authentic English tea house, and the store carries delectable goodies, bone china,...
