The food was excellent and so was the service. No need to get out in the traffic for a fine dining experience. Just stay home at the hotel.

It was our last night of our holiday and we were staying at Langham so we decided to go to The Royce. We were taken into their wine room and shown their vast collection of wines from all over the globe. I had the carpaccio for entree which was good but then I received my Brandt beef Rib Eye. This... At a recent dinner at The Royce I had a mixed experience. My partner and I had champagne cocktails which were an overly strong and uninspired mix of champagne and cheap brandy. Our appetizer of raw oysters that were not on the menu were wonderful, a mix of Japanese and domestic mollusks. The accompanying sauces were fine. The next course... More

Pretty place with good food and regular service, but prices are far too high. This hotel is in a beautiful neighborhood which is enjoyable. You will enjoy walking around the hotel and its grounds which are kept very nice. I have eaten here but felt the only reason to eat here is because you like the atmosphere, because the price... More

The Royce at the Langham, Pasadena was remodeled about three or four years ago Unfortunately somebody made a decision to enclose what used to be an outdoor dining area, so there is no outdoor seating. The decor is very cold and modern, however there is a lovely view and a wall of windows which overlook the lawn and gardens. The... More

We had a beautiful birthday dinner at The Royce where everything from the service to the meal was exceptional. My husband received a birthday greeting upon arrival, and then a card on the table recognising his birthday. Impeccable service from our sommelier - Simon - who was very impressive with his knowledge of their vast wine offerings. All staff were... More

Its our 50th Wedding Anniversary. We're on our own. Which of many of the good restaurants in the Pasadena area should we choose? The Langham, of course! We've lived in this area all our married life and the Huntington Hotel in its many lives has always been a special place to gather. I heard the Royce was very expensive but... More

Located in the Langham Hotel in Pasadena, this modern decor steakhouse served up some great food - but it felt like it was trying too hard to be upscale. Upon arrival, we waited a little too long to be served and while the ambiance is fresh and modern, the mix of underdressed youth playing on their electronic devices combined with... More
