Description: Green Street Restaurant is where Pasadenans go to enjoy breakfast, lunch...
Green Street Restaurant is where Pasadenans go to enjoy breakfast, lunch or dinner and it's been a Pasadena tradition since 1979. It is centrally located just off South Lake Avenue and is within walking distance of hotels, the convention center, the Pasadena Playhouse and popular shopping areas. Green Street has an eclectic menu featuring savory salads (the ever popular and addicting Dianne Salad is ordered over 2,000 times per week), tasty meats, fresh fish and creative sandwiches served on wonderful breads. Guests enjoy a full bar and interesting wines by the glass on a beautiful patio or in the airy interior. Take-out and full catering services are also available.

Great Salads

I used to come on a regular basis when I lived in Pasadena and I still enjoy returning for a salad when I can. I love the salads and they are huge. My favorite is the Shopper's Lane. It comes with chicken and tortilla strips and an amazing sour cream dressing. I don't see it on the menu anymore... read more

Hubby and I stopped at the Green Street Restaurant before a visit to the famed Huntington Library and Gardens. With all the great restaurants that Pasadena has to offer, from reading reviews, it sounded like Green Street would be a perfect choice for lunch. Well, it was, and it wasn't. Although we arrived around 11:30am, and the restaurant wasn't very... More

Outstanding food and service. Comfort food with a twist and we have never ever had a bad meal there. You MUST have the Diane Salad! We dine here every 2 weeks.

If your hungry for fine home cooking then Green Street is the place to go... for breakfast or lunch you can't beat it.... service is great .... The restaurant is Pasadena Casual but if you need to meet for an early breakfast meeting you can't beat it... Oat Meal is just like home made... Salads are large so you had... More

We've had Green Street meals for every day lunch and special occasion dinners and have always loved the food. Of course, the salads are delicious but the sandwiches are too. I've had a couple of good bottles of wine recommended by the waitstaff that we always search out to buy for home. Easy parking in Pasadena is always a plus.

Went to celebrate my birthday because I wanted something low-key. Service was okay, but staff were not as attentive as I would have liked. We sat outside and rarely saw our waiter. I ordered the seafood grill with goat cheese smashed potatoes and string beans. It was just okay. They brought me grilled vegetables instead of string beans but corrected... More

I love their salads and will drive out of my way to visit this restaurant. I can also recomend their breakfast and brunch menu, because they know how to make a great omelet. Cobb or chinese chicken salad are my two top picks and don't forget to get their zuchini bread.

I wanted to take my wife out for her birthday, with another couple of friends, and was disappointed to find the apparently "great" restaurants in Pasadena were fully booked. I resigned myself to a merely "good" meal at Green Street Restaurant, and must now greatly elevate my opinion of the place! The decor is warm and table layout makes for... More

I've stopped by Green Street Restaurant a few times while traveling on business to Pasadena. The food is always pretty good but not great. However, eating in a relaxed environment on the patio that's not facing busy streets is a rare find anywhere in the LA area, and Green Street happens to be one of those places. Knowing that I...
