Green Street has an eclectic menu featuring savory salads (the ever popular and addicting Dianne Salad is ordered over 2,000 times per week), tasty meats, fresh fish and creative sandwiches served on wonderful breads. Guests enjoy a full bar and interesting wines by the glass on a beautiful patio or in the airy interior. Take-out and full catering services are also available.

Went to celebrate my birthday because I wanted something low-key. Service was okay, but staff were not as attentive as I would have liked. We sat outside and rarely saw our waiter. I ordered the seafood grill with goat cheese smashed potatoes and string beans. It was just okay. They brought me grilled vegetables instead of string beans but corrected... More

I love their salads and will drive out of my way to visit this restaurant. I can also recomend their breakfast and brunch menu, because they know how to make a great omelet. Cobb or chinese chicken salad are my two top picks and don't forget to get their zuchini bread.

I wanted to take my wife out for her birthday, with another couple of friends, and was disappointed to find the apparently "great" restaurants in Pasadena were fully booked. I resigned myself to a merely "good" meal at Green Street Restaurant, and must now greatly elevate my opinion of the place! The decor is warm and table layout makes for... More

I've stopped by Green Street Restaurant a few times while traveling on business to Pasadena. The food is always pretty good but not great. However, eating in a relaxed environment on the patio that's not facing busy streets is a rare find anywhere in the LA area, and Green Street happens to be one of those places. Knowing that I... A la carte can be pricey. My friend's coffee was $3.75, a little steep. I got a favorite, scrambled eggs, bacon, fruit, zucchini bread and coffee, which for $8.95 isn't a bad deal. Food was hot and service attentive. Scrambled eggs were done just right for me, zucchini bread is a restaurant specialty, strong good coffee. Restaurant is popular, located... More

Food was ok but should have been told by waiter that dinner salads are extremely large. He should have recommended lunch salad. Martini was a little pricey.

It is above predictable but consistent food. A little noisy inside. Some favorites on the menu are the Diane Salad and Zucchini bread.

The surroundings are perfect for an office lunch with 6 to 8 people, as they have large tables spaced far enough apart to stay quiet and private. The pasta dishes are very carefully prepared with quality ingredients, a bit bland but very healthy, typical of California in that regard. The service is very good, they seem to realize they have... We have been going to Green Street for as long as we have lived in Pasadena, about 25 years. My favorite thing to eat there is the Diane Salad. It is so big, you could share it and still take some home. Finely shredded lettuce, with chicken pieces and fried rice noodles on top and sprinkled with mandarin oranges. I... More
