Dined at Café Bizou on a Wednesday evening. Despite the glowing reviews, we were disappointed with almost every dish we tried. My lobster bisque was overseasoned and had just one chunk of lobster, which was cold. My wife's baked mushroom appetizer was mushy, with almost no flavor. I had the "salmon" entrée, but it was the whitest salmon I've ever... More

We had a very lovely dinner at Cafe Bizou. There was a lot going on in Pasadena that day and night so we had a bit of a wait in spite of having a reservation.Given that, the staff was still friendly and the service very good. It was enjoyable night and a fun dinner!

We ducked in here for lunch while shopping. The food is very well-priced considering the quality- it's not world class but I don't get what people expect for a 16 dollar three course meal. I had a very nice bowl of seafood linguine, which while oversalted, had some chunks of actual lobster. Salads were fresh, desserts not overly sweet. Service... More

Service and food were great from beginning to end - we closed the place down and were not rushed in anyway

Cafe Bizou in Pasadena has welcoming dining rooms and a prix fixe lunch menu that seems tailor made for groups - families, book clubs, friends' reunions. Service is friendly and attentive. The menu items sound much more appealing than they actually are, however. Not that the plates ordered at our table were bad; they were just so-so. The only standout... More

We were taken here by relatives who had been here before and recommended it highly. The place has a really nice ambience. We all ordered something different and we were all very impressed with the meals. We took advantage of the $1 soup and salad offer! The offer a 3 course set meal for $29 as well with a few... More

We visited Pasadena's Cafe Bizou in October while they were offering a 3 course fixed price menu where you choose from a nice variety of appetizers, entrees, and desserts. I liked how the 1st or 3rd course could be substituted for a glass of house wine. The Cesar salad that I ordered was perfectly dressed and proportioned. The salad greens... More

Cafe Bizou has the perfect combo for this economy....good food at a great price. All the menu items are reasonable from appetizers to steaks. For $1.00 you get soup or green salad with any entree. For $2.00 you can add a Caesar salad. Some months have a $26 prix fixe dinner special, Appetizer, entree, dessert. I had lobster bisque, black... More

Cafe Bizou is serious about customer service. Reservations are honored on time, variety of menu choices always good...I tend to the many fish selections. Corkage $2.00 per bottle, soup and or salad at discounts. Service always good and prices reasonable

A large variety of delicious French food, at very modest prices, with a $2 corkage fee! You will surely enjoy a meal there!
