Great Place

French style food with an intimate setting, exceptional service and a reasonably good wine selection. A good choice when the area is crowded as it is less popullar than the pub style places favorited by the young crowd.

We had dinner here during LA Restaurant Week, and took advantage of some great pricing for special meal combinations. The Caesar's Salad, French Onion Soup, Cedar Plank Salmon Filet, Steak-and-Lobster, Tiramisu, and Flourless Chocolate Cake, were all excellent!!! And from what we observed other people eating, the regularly-priced items off the menu are also good values, given the quality and... More

We were doing an errand down the street and saw their sign. My husband read the menu and said, let us see if we can get a table. We asked and they instantly showed us to a perfect booth. Our waiter Luis was attentive and warm. We had the prix fixed dinner. It was hard to decide what to choose... More

To begin with, four of us, age 68, 78, 79 and 89 arrived at this restaurant at 7:10 on a Saturday night having reserved a table for 7:15. At check in we were seated in the bar lounge and not in the main dining room as we would have expected. Shortly after having been seated, a noisy party started to... More

What can I say? The food was phenomenal. I ordered the prix fixe, 3 course menu and was delighted by the tender meats and the selection they offered. The services was a little slow (or very French), servers were otherwise friendly. It was quite a busy Saturday night - people waiting for tables were packed into the lobby area. I... More

We visited this warm and beautiful restaurant for dinner tonight and cannot begin to rate it anything but perfect. We shared the stuffed mushroom appetizer, entrées were monkfish accompanied by lobster risotto and chicken balsamic and topped it off with an amazing warm bread pudding with caramel sauce and ice cream. The prices were so fair and reasonable and the... More

We had dinner here over the holidays based upon the great TA reviews, and had a very nice time. We both ordered the 3 course dinner special very reasonably priced at $32. It was a very busy time so the food service was a bit slow in arriving, but server was attentive to water and wine in the meantime. Lobster... More

A very centrally located restaurant with a great menu at reasonable prices. You can choose a from a prescribed multi course special menu each night or from the regular menu. Sometimes Saturday night is very busy, so try a week night instead. A favorite of locals!

We are talking with the waiter as we waited for everybody to show up," yes, we have know each other for over 45 years. We went to high school together." Our table for 10 is full now, the wine is open (low corkage here) and on come the fried calamari, and smoked salmon biscuits. We order the house salad, and... More
