This little restaurant in Old Town Pasadena serves Himalayan cuisine, which I really enjoy. I've eaten there a number of times and each time the service was very good and the food was excellent...I've even tried the "yak" which I found to be delicious. The restaurant has a very comfy and laid back feel to it and I usually enjoy... More

The restaurant is rather simple and not very large. Portions are reasonable in size. We ordered two appetizers, two curries, nan bread, and rice: way too much food. However.. everything was great. The samosas were the exception. I had a peas with mushroom curry: loved it. My wife chicken... also very good. The curry is heavy in cream and the... More

We had a selection of fantastic vegetarian dishes as well as the "yak dumplings" that were excellent. The Paneer Butter Masala was our favorite we've had since visiting India. The restaurant is simple inside but is decorated with art from Northern India and the Himalayas. It doesn't win on atmosphere, but does win on food flavor.

Authentic food and good service. We had the buffet and it included a couple chicken dishes which were really really good. The vegetarian stuff was very good as well. Highly recommended.

Having traveled to Tibet, this is basically the asian recipes that are imported into Tibet from India and Thailand, not traditional Tibetan food. That being said, the food is very good. Service is sometimes a little suspect.

This place surprisingly had the best samosa i've have had in a long time. The service was friendly. We asked for the dahl to be not so spicy and it had zero heat which was not too bad given that our 2yr old was enjoying it. The bamboo shoot curry dish was fantastic and so was the garlic green beans.... More

This is our first visit to Pasadena. My wife and I were walking around, and discovered a newly opened wine store called Everson Royce. In talking, they mentioned the Tibet Napal House The Tibet Napal House offers Himalayian food ... similar to Indian food ... although I like them both. The food at Tibet Nepal House is fantastic ... and... More

The service was excellent. The food was okay. We ordered Tibetian Bread (see picture) which was okay but nothing special. Yak Stew (see picture) because we've never had Yak; some pieces were tender and some were tough but the sauce/stew was very good. We didn't order any rice, but I would recommend rice to sop up the good stew sauce.... More
