The waiters/waitresses are kind and that is all. I am not indian but in my belly there are thousands of indian dishes taken in UK and the rest of Europe, of course India and some in US. The sauce with the complimentary poppadoms was fine. I have ordered lassi, natural rice, kulfi, chicken vindaloo and paratha. The last three were... More

This place is a rare find. I have tasted some of the best Indian in Europe and on the East Coast. I wasn't having any luck with finding a good Indian restaurant in California until I found this place. The food looked, smelled and tasted fantastic. The flavors were some of the best I have ever had and portions were... More

Really good Indian food! Clean surroundings, good price, good location, wonderful all-you-can-drink chai. The servers are friendly and attentive.

We were meeting friends for dinner - some were carnivores, some vegans. And we had a dog with us on a relatively warm evening. This great little restaurant didn't have just something for everyone, it had something GREAT for everyone! Decent selection of Indian beers, al fresco dining so the dog could lie down outside, superb service staff. The seasonings... More

My husband and I have had been to many regional Indian restaurants in Pasadena and L.A.. All seem to have their own style of cooking. This is hands down our favorite. Try the samosas with tamarind chutney, creamy, saffron infused Mahkni Paneer (perfect with rice or garlic naan) and surprisingly sweet and satisfying carrot pudding for dessert. Whatever you do,... A nice small Indian restaurant with really good food. They don't have the enormous variety that you might find in a place with other Indian restaurants competing but what they do have is done very well. The staff is always friendly and happy to see you and it's fairly priced as well. You also get 90 minutes free parking in... More

Enjoyed a lunch with friends out on the small outdoor eating area. Nice spot to take advantage of good weather and do some people watching. Lunch specials are reasonably priced and food was tasty. Samosas were perfectly prepared and seasoned, arriving with two dipping sauces. The two young ladies who took our order and checked up on us were delightful.... More

This is a charming Indian restaurant just off of Colorado Boulevard that has outstanding food. We had an assortment of appetizers and main dishes, all of them excellent. In the background they play Bollywood films, adding to the charm of the restaurant.

Generally a lovely, easy place for Indian food. We are addicted to Bel Puri as a first course. We go pretty often and order other things but always start with Bel Puri. The staff is friendly and seems to have been there forever.

I love Indian food and this little place was no let down. I find most Indian food to be of standard fare, but this place was a step above. We sat outside on the few sidewalk tables offered to passers by and had beer with a vegetarian thali and a tandoori plate. Lots of food. Lots of flavor.
