Pie N Burger is something of a throwback. The area around it has been gentrified and become very upscale but the atmosphere here is still pure '60s. The food is simple but delicious and the prices are very reasonable. I don't think that any item on the menu was over $10 unless you order a whole pie. The burgers (turkey... More

While this is a very welcoming diner in Pasadena, I was disappointed at the level of cleanliness here. I travel quite a bit and try to always offer the positives to every restaurant I visit but this one needs to know that they simply have to clean their place up. While the food is good it's pricey. When sitting at... More

Pie & Burger is a legend in Pasadena. When you walk in you feel like you are at an Old Burger joint. The service is pretty good but you should definitely know when you want when you order. Love how they pump soda. Great fries as well. I've noticed some people complain about the prices but they are not that... More

I guess not everyone can rate this restaurant a "5", but every time I am in the Pasadena area, this is the one restaurant I just LOVE to go to!! It is not fancy, but their hamburgers are THE BEST and I love their Coconut Cream Pie! My nephews die for their chocolate shakes! I live in the Bay Area... More

This is a clean neighborhood diner. It's a local hangout. I go for the seasonal pies. They never disappoint. Try the peach pie. it's out of this world.

OMG! The burgers here are to kill for. As are the pies. Totally vintage experience. Maybe the best burgers in Passdena!

This is a standard diner joint, seemingly unaffected by the progress of time. Burger is featured in George Motz's Hamburger America, which is what led us here. Was just as expected--good diner burger. Did not try the pie this time.

Gosh, I guess I should've ordered the kool-aid, so I could've drank it and thought I was getting a decent meal. That's the only explanation I can imagine for all the great reviews I've seen for this place, because what I had was awful. All the food I had was clearly rolled out the back of a "Sysco" truck the... More

I love a little old fashioned place with a counter-and the burgers here are very good and the butterscotch pie is a must -but sells out often. They have great desserts and the servers are nice. cute little place

For all the overhyped, overblown and overrated restaurants in Pasadena, and let's not forget all the high end burger joints, the burger at Pie n' Burger goes toe to toe with ANY of these restaurants and their burger variations. The burger is big, but you don't need a double jointed jaw to eat it. It's cooked to a perfect medium... More
