World famous Roscoes Chicken and Waffles

The restaurant was very crowded, the waiter for good, the food was very hot and tasty. The waffles are the best that I've ever had. The food is too pricey.

This is a popular place, and I just don't see what people see in this place. You'll probably wait a short while. The waffles are anemic, pale, not deep and soggy. eggos are much better than these. Much better! The chicken was okay to good. The omelette was good. The potatoes and gravy were good. The food took forever to... More

Love the food, but don't have time to get a table and sit down to eat on weeknights, so we normally order take-out. Roscoe's just can't seem to get it right, which is a shame. They've screwed up our order 3 times now, plus the phone number for the Pasadena location on the website is actually the Hollywood store's number....and... More

Everytime we are in the area we stop and have breakfast or lunch. The service is great. The food is always good. If you are in town this place is a must.

This restaurant has been in Pasadena for ages and pairs 2 unlikely items for a delicious taste treat; fried chicken and waffles. Who ever would have thought that maple syrup accidently getting on your fried chicken would taste so good. My dad who lives in San Francisco, must have some Roscoe' every time he visits. If you "must" eat healthy,... More

I heard about this soul testaurant from food network tv and want to try for long time. They have one of the best fried chicken for real, try chili chicken with waffle-it is a good combination.

This was my first experience with chicken and waffles - I've had fried chicken, and I've had waffles, but put them together and WHOA what an experience! It's the perfect brunch food. The place is cute and casual, not a fancy restaurant but clean and comfortable. Come here for the food!!! The waffles were perfectly fluffy and tasted a bit... More

It's a trend setter, always has been. I have tried chicken and waffles all over the country and it's never the same. The eggs are fluffy, the greens are wonderful and it's the only place I eat gizzards. Roscoes is always a must stop and if your still contemplating a trip to Pasadena or Los Angeles I hope this and... More

I know, it sounds kinda strange-- chicken and waffles together, but there's something about the combined flavors that will make you come back every time you're in the Los Angeles area. The menu says, "...a succulent chicken breast", and they aren't kidding! The waffles, butter, and syrup have a slight cinnamon flavor. I always add a side of their scrambled... More
