The decor is something you might find in any local cafe along a rural highway. Nothing fancy. But the food and staff make up for it. At first I thought chicken and waffles was a strange combination, but they make it work and they do it well. A very satisfying experience and reasonably priced.

My husband and I both ordered my favorite, wings and waffles. The biggest problem was finding it on the menu. It is very disorganized and cumbersome. They could certainly benefit from a marketing viewpoint to streamline their menu. But even if it was a struggle to find my favorite combo, it was worth it. The chicken was moist and tender,... More

The place is highly over-rated. I have gone by twice because of the lines that I have seen waiting outside. However, the service was poor (too long of a wait to both order and receive my food, as well as an unprofessional staff) and the food was "less than ordinary". This is from someone who knows what real southern food... More

The food was great! I wound up ordering a number of things and took leftovers home. The dirty potatoes, fried chicken livers, grits and more...the menu...from now on, .every time i am in rhe area this will be on my must list.

I have friends who love this place, so we come often. I find it to be inconsistent and expensive. Good southern fried chicken, but sometimes very dry. Typical soul food sides which are usually excellent. I like the chicken and waffles and gravy.

I love this place! It is casual and the Chix is delicious. However, the sides make it even more mouthwatering! It is down home comfort food. Pairing the crispy fried chicken with sweet maple covered waffles is a big plus. The cornbread, greens, beans, mashed potatoes, yams, and mac and cheese just take it over the top!

Saw on the food channel as labeled a Los Angeles institution. Went with a large group of co-workers and ordered almost everything they had to offer. It was complete gluttony, but it was a blast. The fries chicken was good and crispy, but was a bit over fries for my taste. The combination of chicken and waffle was really good.... More

The pancakes were soggy and tiny, the syrups horribly flavored (ohhh I want maple syrup), the chicken hard and crusty. Literally no prep or skill is needed to cook this stuff, it's just dumped out. Pretty disgusting.

On New Year's Day, we were searching for a taste of home and an open restaurant. We found both at Roscoe's. Our New Year's tradition involves eating greens and black-eyed peas for prosperity. We are often traveling on that day so our version of this has had wide variations over the years. This year, we hit pretty close with our... More

spent two hours driving to roscoes as we had read all the great reviews, what a disappointment. yes the chicken is good but the macaroni cheese was very dry and tasteless, the fries were under cooked and the collard greens very watery. this was also very pricey for what you got. i was so disappointed with this place, we would...
