Since 1984, Parkway Grill has specialized in a seasonal, market-driven approach to cooking that incorporates diverse influences and classic French technique. Demonstrating the ultimate commitment to fresh produce, the Parkway Grill planted its own organic vegetable and herb garden behind the restaurant. Tiki Salad, Brick-Oven Baked Cambozola Pear Flat Bread, and Whole Ginger Fried Catfish are long-time favorites. The design of the Parkway Grill is a study in casual sophistication, striking a perfect balance between elegance and rustic approachability. The brick walls are adorned with elegant paintings by Millard Sheets and mixologists prepare hand-crafted cocktails at the expansive bar, an original from 1920's Chicago. Parkway's award-winning wine cellar, comprised of upwards of three thousand bottles, includes a broad selection of wines served by the glass.

I went for dinner with 7, celebrating a college graduation. The staff went out of their way to accommodate us. We shared appetizers-all wonderful! The tiger shrimp corndogs were delicious as were the crab cakes and tuna tartare.. I had the scallops and they awesome with a great flavor and enhancements. The bananas foster was a perfect ending!

The menu range is impressive but even more so is that it is all good. Our party of 4 varied from pizza, meat, fish and salads and topped off by killer desserts. Always well served can not wait to go back.

We got engaged here in 1990. It still ranks very high as a classy gourmet restaurant in Pasadena. The menu impresses everyone and the fresh ingredient and herb garden on the property will certainly dazzle you. We enjoy the live music and upbeat cocktail hour. The fireplace is usually crackling in winter and the staff reflects a positive energy. Can't... More

Five of us ladies celebrated a birthday after an afternoon at the Pasadena Showcase House of Design. We had made 5:30 dinner reservations since we'd be driving one hour to get back home. I phoned to let the restaurant know we were running a half hour late; no problem. Four of our group of five had not been to the... More

We visited the Parkway Grill for our 50th wedding anniversary. It also happened to be my sister in law's 75th birthday. We were a table of 4 and the restaurant's attention to detail was outstanding. I had the White Fish which was sauted just right, and the vegetables accompanying the fish completed the gustatorial experience. All in our party were... More

My wife and I love going to the Parkway. It is so classy and elegant. Service is great as well as the food and drinks. You cannot go wrong with this establishment. On the pricey side but worth it if the occasion calls for it.

Let me begin by saying this restaurant is owned by the Smith Brothers and for the longest time they were the only game in town. They own four or five other restaurants as well. I used to be a regular customer, bringing my clients to Parkway and going for special occasions. I own a business (not a restaurant) in Pasadena... More

Very good to excellent fare from a very nice but expensive Pasadena landmark. The surroundings are sumptuous and the service excellent. It starts with excellent bread offerings. The lamb lollipops were stunning in a pomegranate sauce with fig relish. That was the high point of the meal. The seared scallops were also excellent. The short ribs and a sea bass... More
