Description: Since 1984, Parkway Grill has specialized in a seasonal, market-driven approach to cooking that incorporates diverse influences and classic French technique. Demonstrating the ultimate commitment to fresh produce, the Parkway Grill planted its own organic vegetable and herb garden behind the restaurant. Tiki Salad, Brick-Oven Baked Cambozola Pear Flat Bread, and Whole Ginger Fried Catfish are long-time favorites. The design of the Parkway Grill is a study in casual sophistication, striking a perfect balance between elegance and rustic approachability. The brick walls are adorned with elegant paintings by Millard Sheets and mixologists prepare hand-crafted cocktails at the expansive bar, an original from 1920's Chicago. Parkway's award-winning wine cellar, comprised of upwards of three thousand bottles, includes a broad selection of wines served by the glass.

We save Parkway Grill for our Special Event Restaurant. It is pricey, but worth every penny. From the trouble free parking to the ambiance within, to the efficient and knoweldgeable wait staff, to the carefully crafted Martinis; all those amenities help make dining at Parkway a special experience. The food itself is the crown on the experience. Always thoughtfully prepared... More

We have been coming here off and on for 14 years. It's an hour drive, but well worth it. Tonight we were 8 and brought 4 bottles of wine to drink. Their policy is that they will pour 3 (with corkage fee). We asked if they would make an exception and accommodated us. Thank you. We shared Cesar salad and... More

I had always heard great things about Parkway Grill and Arroyo Chop House. For years, I had been trying to find an occasion to stop in, but either it was out of the way, I/We wanted something quick/cheap, or it just didn't pop into my head as an option. THEN, one day, we were in Pasadena looking for a dinner... More

I asked if steak was USDA prime and they insist it was but I can tell you it was not as good as the steaks they sell at Maraconda's in the farmers market on Fairfax (which really are USDA prime). The steak was over $40.00 and it was OK but for that price was hoping for something more. One of... More

Although a bit far away from the old town, Parkway Grill is well worth the visit. Free valet parking is provided. Wonderful interior. Good drinks and a good wine list. Service was excellent and the bottom line is, good food here.

Great restaurant. Top service and food. The appetizers that we shared among the table were excellent. Love the blue crab cakes. Others have raved about the napoleon creme brulle so I tried it. Absolutely the best. Must have.

I lived in Pasadena in the late 80's when it was not as upscale as it is today. My idea of fine dining was Lucky Boy down the road (didn't go this visit but it was awesome!) We wanted a nice continental place in Pasadena and Parkway Grill hit the spot. The service was attentive, but not overbearing. The bread... More

We had lunch at the bar and hang out with Kevin, a great and knowledgeable bartender!!! He recommended a great malbec for lunch that was a hit. He knows the area so any detail that you need you should just ask! The food was delicious! My husband decided for the restaurant week menu, the dates were amazing and he said... More

I had dinner here with 7 co-workers. The musty smell hit me as soon as I entered the building. My dinner was okay for the price. Our server was very accomodating and made the experience better than it would otherwise have been. With so many outstanding restaurants in Pasadena, I will probably not return.
