Since 1984, Parkway Grill has specialized in a seasonal, market-driven approach to cooking that incorporates diverse influences and classic French technique. Demonstrating the ultimate commitment to fresh produce, the Parkway Grill planted its own organic vegetable and herb garden behind the restaurant. Tiki Salad, Brick-Oven Baked Cambozola Pear Flat Bread, and Whole Ginger Fried Catfish are long-time favorites. The design of the Parkway Grill is a study in casual sophistication, striking a perfect balance between elegance and rustic approachability. The brick walls are adorned with elegant paintings by Millard Sheets and mixologists prepare hand-crafted cocktails at the expansive bar, an original from 1920's Chicago. Parkway's award-winning wine cellar, comprised of upwards of three thousand bottles, includes a broad selection of wines served by the glass.

Always Had to Wait - Even with Reseravation

It like the food, atmosphere and the service. But, every time I go to the Parkway Grill they make me wait - even with reservations. I don't get it. It is almost like they want you to think that this restaurant is more important than the customer. I never had the problem with any of the other... read more

We ate here again during the DineLA week and once again had a wonderful dining experience. All fresh ingredients and something for everyone's taste. A little pricey, but good value for a fine dining experience.

We were a party of 4 dining for dinner. The restaurant is a nicely appointed facility, with excellent service. I had the Alaskan Halibut which was a special which was freshly flown in. It was great. This is an excellent place to dine in Pasadena.

A colleague and I had dinner at the grill and the description that comes to mind is calm elegance. The atmosphere is classy but not stuffy or elitist. The service is gracious and friendly. It was totally relaxing. It was private enough to have a serious conversation but public enough to feel you were part of a vibrant energy. The... More

decent place, love the decor and the ambiance but the steaks were just average, if not below average. Not worth the price and certainly shouldn't be #2 restaurant in pasadena. That's very very very inaccurate.

My friends and I went here for a special lunch after visiting the Norton Simon Museum. The dining room is beautiful with a quiet elegance. Beautiful flower arrangements abound. The menu has a lot of variety and as usual we ordered a lot of small plates and shared. The food was very good. They have nice wine selections. I have... More

Went for lunch to celebrate a friends birthday. They offer a delicious bread basket with an assortment of breads/crackers. We ordered the ahi tartare appetizer and caesar salad. The salad was served with fresh anchovies with an excellent dressing. Entrée was the whole fried catfish and it was cooked to perfection. The service is consistently excellent, everyone we encountered was... More

I went for dinner with 7, celebrating a college graduation. The staff went out of their way to accommodate us. We shared appetizers-all wonderful! The tiger shrimp corndogs were delicious as were the crab cakes and tuna tartare.. I had the scallops and they awesome with a great flavor and enhancements. The bananas foster was a perfect ending!
