Excellent service. Good wine list. Not an extensive menu, but we'll prepared dishes. I will return when visiting Pasadena!

Kids took me (without grandkids and spouses) for my 70th. Had a wonderful long lunch with some of the best food we've had in a long time. Appetizers were unique and wonderful, main dish short ribs/mashed pot and Kobe burger were outstanding - the desserts were not the best we've had but quite good. Service - while not super friendly... While the food was fantastic from the interesting breads to the perfectly prepared and sauced fish and meats, the service was a tad ragged. Not as attentive as needed along with a variety of miscues of minor consequence. The pastry/creme brullee was exquisite. Sound levels a tad high. Easy valet parking.

Went during Dine LA with my husband and had a 3 course menu - oysters on 1/2 shell and lobster crepe to start, scallops and filet for entree, and choc lava cake/creme brulee napoleon for dessert. Everything was quite good, esp the oysters, filet, and scallops. A variety of tasting bread choices preceded the meal. Clientele is definitely older, but... More

its a lovely setting and the food is very good with service to match. Wine is a touch expensive but that's the norm for California. Really recommend.

Wile traveling to Pasadena for the first time for the BCS Championship game in 2014, I looked on Trip Advisor for some tips for good food. The reviews for the Parkway Grill were mostly excellent with a few negatives. After dining there, those with negative views must be impossible to please. From the moment we arrived (30 minutes early) the... More

The feature here is the ambiance, but the food can be very good. I suspect the waiters are told to recommend dishes that are not moving, for example the NY steak instead of the filet. The whole catfish is very good, but too big. This is a place to be self-reliant when ordering, also as the level of staff sophistication... More

Beautiful ambience, considerate wait staff and terrific food made this a special dinner experience. Tiger shrimp appetizer, duck, scallops, halibut and catfish entrees all delicious and creme brûlée and bananas foster dessert capped off an unforgettable meal.

Went for wife's birthday, a romantic night out. The food was delicious and the ambiance was warm and relaxing. On a busy Saturday night the food came out quickly and warm, we didn't have to sit and wait and wait on our appetizers, entree, or desserts!

We were in Pasadena for a weekend trip. Had made reservations and they were prepared with our table waiting. Although a busy Sat night, the service was very prompt and the food excellent.
