Ever-popular in the Pasadena area for the ultimate in business dinners, special-occasion dining and after-work cocktails hand crafted by the mixologists-Chop House has a broad appeal. USDA Prime Steaks, served exclusively, are aged, hand-cut daily, and perfectly seared in a 500 degree oven. Good Food from the Dine LA

We've dined here a few times. Last week we came here again due to Dine LA. We started with an Iceburg Wedge salad and the crab bisque. Then we had the filet mignon which was excellent. For the dessert my wife had the cheesecake and she enjoyed it a lot. However I had the chocolate brownie with... read more

If you like oysters, this is the place to go in Pasadena. They regularly have at least two kinds on the menu. The service is very good, all of the entrees and appetizers are great. The steaks are excellent; bring your appetite and wallet, as they are pricey! Nice atmosphere but a bit loud for my (senior) ears. You can... More

2nd visit to Arroyo this year did not disappoint. My meal began with the pea soup. The peas are whole (not split) in a consumè. Very good. I ordered the porterhouse cooked medium. This cut was nicely trimmed, thick and tasty. My favorite sides were the onion rings, jalepeno corn and macs and cheese. The quality of the sides is... More

The Chop House is expensive, but sometimes you just need to splurge. I took my husband here for his birthday, it was my 3rd time at this Chop House. The wait staff is always professional, the steaks are amazing and the dessert creme brûlée was perfect. I highly recommend the Arroyo Chop House

Great succulent ribeye! I looked at all of the review websites trying to figure out where the best steak was to be had in Pasadena. Boy am I glad I chose this place. To start with we had the garlic bread and barbeque shrimp. We split a garlic mashed potato and I had a ribeye. It was melting in my... More

Ate here twice, first night salmon, second night the large filet. Both meals were astounding. Ask for Blair, table 43. Service was amazing. Asparagus side is excellent, but large, just be warned. Chocolate pecan cake is fabulous. This place does everything right. Even the valet parking is seemless. Highly recommended!

One of the best dinners of my life. The food was fresh, very well prepared. We had a large party (18) and never wanted for service. I enjoyed the bacon wrapped scallops, filet and cheese cake. Everything was perfect.

I came here about a year ago with 3 others for a date night. Ambiance is what I expected from a steakhouse, dim and nice mellow music playing in the background. Of course we all ordered steak, but I had the Filet Mignon, which was cooked to perfection and as soft as butter! Thinking about it now makes my mouth... More

We found the great food, good service and good wines we had hoped for. Superb filet mignon, perfectly cooked (rare), great wedge salad, which they split for us. We ate on the patio on a busy Friday night. Staff adjusted both the lighting and the temperature to make us comfortable. Live piano wafting in from the bar. It was hard... More

The fish entree was good but not great. Best to order steak at the "chop" house. Sides were good--particularly the spinach. Salad excellent. Potatoes were so-so.
