Hidden Little Spot in Pasadena

Amazing. Went for breakfast and came back for lunch. The french toast everyone raves about is--totally worth it! The waitress, Shazamm, was perfect. Friendly, attentive but not overly...and she brought amazing food. Sat on porch both times-wonderful.

We loved this charming place in Pasadena as a perfect spot to meet a friend for breakfast. The food choices are varied and delicious; the atmosphere is friendly. In essence:marvelous Marsten's.

We tried Marston's because of other reviews we had read on trip advisor and it was definitely worth the trip. The menu is a la carte so it did get a little pricey but it was really worth splurging. We ordered a plate of fruit for the whole table and it was some of the best pineapple I've ever had.... More

Spent 4 days in Pasadena for a wedding and ate breakfast at Marstons twice because it was so good. Their version of Huevos Rancheros while not traditional was excellent with meat and beans and avocado all piled on top of tortillas. The pulled pork Eggs Benedict was outstanding and the French toast good and HUGE- large enough for 2 to... More

Friday at noon. Visiting SoCal and wanted yummy breakfast. Too bad, missed the last call, but had lunch instead. Delicious blackened salmon wrap with side of fresh fruit. Others had california omelette, the only breakfast item and spicy salmon sandwich with fries. All beautifully prepared and tasty. Coffee is real good as well. Can be a long wait, especially on... This well-known restaurant in Old Town Pasadena is a nice place for breakfast or lunch. A few of us decided to have breakfast here on the day of Ciclavia, and we very much enjoyed the homely feel this little restaurant has. It's not very big, so it does tend to get crowded, there's inside seating as well as a few... More

Marston's is in a small bungalow with a crowd of people waiting outside, for good reason! Add your name to the list and don't worry if there are a lot of names in front of yours, as they move people through surprisingly quickly. Everyone in our party of 5 loved what they ordered. The pancakes and eggs Benedict were both... More

Whenever I am in the area and have time for breakfast this is where I go. I have brought co-workers here and done business when the opportunity arises.
