We go here every time we're in Pasadena

We make an annual trip to Pasadena and stay in the Old Town area or close to it. The first time in I found Marston's on TripAdvisor and we've been going back every time we're in town. Marston's is known for it's homey atmosphere & yummy french toast & pancakes. Lunch is good as well. parking is scarce so may have to walk a block or so to get there unless you are incredibly lucky to get one of the very few spots next to the restaurant. Get there right before it opens as there usually is... More

Cute place, long wait to be seated..the french toast and pancakes looked really good, unfortunately I can't eat that stuff and got the powerhouse omelet..just OK, not great, not much flavor, wish they offered feta, gorgonzola cheese or something to jazz it up a bit. Came with fruit which was good, but no toast which I thought was strange, since... More

My wife and I have had breakfast here 15-20 times. Every time was perfect. Marston's is the best bkfst place I've ever been to. The attentive service, the quality of the food, and their wonderful corn flake encrusted French toast make us return again & again. We tried a couple of other purportedly good bkfst places here in pasadena...they simply... More

Pretty much anything you order will taste amazing...toast is to die for! Small cozy place, reasonably priced, the only 2 down falls are that Saturday mornings you have to come prepared to wait to be seated at least 30-40 min average wait and there is only a small parking lot ans only a few street parking spaces.

On a Recent Sunday...with a Line Halfway Around Building...We were Debating Whether to Wait or Not...So Glad We Did!!! Host Told Us 20 Minutes which I Found Hard to Believe but at Just About 20 Minutes We were Promptly Sat :) We Were Literally Drooling as We Watched Huge-Portioned Various Dishes Set on Other Diner's Tables... Based on TA reviews, our party of 4 visited Marston's for breakfast on a Sunday morning. We met at the restaurant at 10:00 a.m. and there was a line out the door waiting for tables. You will most likely need to search for street parking, we were able to find a space just a block away. Our wait was fairly... More

Our group of eight walled right in, were seated immediately and had Excellent service. The Pasadena salad was a hit and my BLT was fair. Portions were generous and prices were reasonable.

On only visit to Marston's was on a Saturday morning and we got there before the queue formed. The French toast was excellent, with fruit and syrup - congrats to the chef, as it made the visit. Quite small restaurant, busy with families. Word of warning - watch your card as when I gave mine to the waitress to pay,... More
