Met a customer for lunch here yesterday. First time to Houston's, and first time in this location. Service was OUTSTANDING, both in terms of friendliness, and in terms of efficiency. The food was excellent, and the service was prompt. We didn't feel like staff was hovering over us or hurrying us out, but before I took my last sip of... More

My husband took me to Houston's for my birthday. We waited outside and enjoyed the Koi until our table was ready. The hostess updated us several times as to our status on the wait list, which I really appreciated. The ambiance is very nice (smells terrific). Our food was delicious and cooked just the way we ordered, The only problem... More

We were treated to a lunch here by a friend, previously only been here for dinner. The food was top notch and the service was as well. Would make for an excellent business lunch. I would suggest going in a bit later if you need to talk as it can get loud in there when it is crunch time. Make... More

This is the place I go to when I want a familiar atmosphere, great food, and excellent service. It's a small menu without pages of selections, but what there is there is consistent and very, very good. I usually get the salmon, but the Thai Chicken salad, the Ribs, and the Rib Eye are all delicious! This restaurant was built... More

Houston's is a good brand, and the one is Pasadena is very popular and crowded. The crowd is nice but old. The staff are very professional, and my filet was excellent. It's a bit pricey but well, they are descent and consistent which justifies the price.

The food, service and atmosphere are all excellent. Dinner reservations are recommended on weekends. I'd recommend trying a couple of the appetizers. The salmon was delicious. Someone ordered prime rib and raved about it. Not inexpensive, but you get what you pay for. You won't be disappointed! I've been to Houston's in Dallas and New York City before - and... More

My children took me to Houston's for my birthday. I had never been and it is one of their favorite places. I have to say it did not disappoint. I ordered the ribs with mashed potatoes and coleslaw. They were fall off the bone delicious and had that crunchy sear on the outside that I really enjoy. My son had... More

Attentive service, favorite foods, beautiful surroundings. They are patient while we dine slowly and enjoy our food and company. At times the din is unbearable however. Don't need loud music on top of the general noise. Ribs, sushi, and coleslaw are tops. Thanks to management for excellent server training. A favorite place.

My husband and I lived around the corner from Houston's for years before we finally went. I always admired the craftsman-style building that fit right in with our Pasadena neighborhood. We decided to go for dinner on our actual anniversary, since we had a trip planned for a few days out. We wanted nice, but not too fancy! Houston's delivered.... More
