I have eaten there several times and have never had anything to complain about except having to wait for my table. The ribs are some of the best you'll find including Rib Houses. When the chop isn't available oder the ribs.

Started with roasted artichoke, spinach & artichoke dip, and a couple of sushi rolls. All of them were brought to table in a timely manner and we enjoyed them thoroughly. I had the French Dip which was ridiculously good. The best I've ever had, and the fries were great as well. They were even serves with Houston's homemade ketchup. Friends... More

Visited the Houston's in Pasadena yesterday for the 1st time. My 22 month old was laughing a little loud with my mom and apparently it bothered some guests. The Manager came over and says "I am glad that your daughter is having a good time, but could you ask her to keep her voice down". She is 22 months old,... More

To all those Houston aficionados, I am well aware of their popular Hawaiian steak and fish dishes. My wife actually is partial to the trout. That being said, Houston's has the absolutely BEST French Dip sandwich to be found. This is not your Phillippe's version. It is a perfect cut of lean rare thinly sliced beef on a perfect bun... More

The food here is excellent albeit a bit pricey. The bar tends to be full to the brim and a bit noisy but the rest of the restaurant is much more relaxing. The only problem is that you have to get there early because it fills up quickly.

Choke & Puke. I wouldn't feed this slop to a Dog. If you value your health pass it by. It's close to Huntington Memorial Hospital though, so you can have your stomach pumped after eating.

This has always been one of my favorites. Great bar selection, good crowd especially on weekends and attentive staff. The Koi pond is fun while waiting to be seated.

Houston's used to be fabulous .. wonderful food, very accommodating. Now, not so much .. what they serve is still fine, but they used to do substitutions with ease, and now not, everything is a la carte and thus very expensive, and they eliminated a number of their most popular items in favor of a so-so sushi menu. A strange... More

After my second visit to Houston's I am sure I will be back for a third visit. The baby back ribs were delicous...the meat fell off the bone. The service was excellent which is something that goes a long way with me. Overall the experience was great considering I did not have a reservation on a busy Sunday afternoon. They... More
