A great place to eat

Houston's is consistently good. Atmosphere is great, as is the service. Steaks are wonderfully, as are the salads. And ribs

So, I went to this place for my birthday......if a human could marry a piece of cheesy bread I'd probably be picking out the honeymoon right now! I've never in my life had bread that looked or tasted like this! Gooey, soft, warm, flavorful and delicious. We also had steaks and salads which were also tasty. The prices are STEEP,... More

No hats. Don't know why. Reservations hard to get to. Beef is over-charcoaled. Tried fish but on the same grill lost its fish taste. Fried food is greasy. Menu is formulaic. Service is good on the whole. The seating is good. But I feel watched and monitored. It feels highly controlled. Nothing has ever been bad except the over-grilling of... More

After several years of absence I took a business associate back to HOUSTON'S. The return was as hoped for and I was happy that I returned. The setting and location is ideal for me being located just south of Old Pasadena. The food, service, and courtese are well above average. I recommend for all aduts and/or business people

Yummy! The food was fabulous, had ribs so tender they fell off the bone. My friend's fish looked good and she enjoyed it, as well as the unusual salad which accompanied it. Wine I tried was good as well.

I always enjoy coming to Houston's especially when I crave prime rib. They definitely know what prime rib is all about, tender, juicy and delicious. Their asian inspired steak salad (or chicken if that is your thing] is absolutely the best. The service here is always fast and attentive. Not a big fan of their burgers or sushi. I have... More

I'm an out of towner, but have been several times over the last decade. Food is creative and excellent. And so is the service. The now have a Sushi menu. I tried their Thai Tuna Sushi and found it so good I went back the next night, this time at the bar, and had it again. I'm not a Kale... More

Anyone I can ever talk to or will listen to my story, I will tell. First, we had reservations. We still had to wait. People who came in after us, with out reservations were seated before us. When we finally were seated, and ordered our food we waited, and waited. When we got our appetizer it was over done, to... More

We've been to this restaurant several times and the food is consistently great. Prices are a little high for everyday meal. The beef dip is a family favorite. At times the wait can be long so plan accordingly.

Sit at the bar, but get there before 5. Fantastic bartenders, very professional but remember you after first visit. Extremely friendly, kind and know what you like. The food is great; haven't ever had a disappointing meal. The ribs are fall off the bone - the traditional salad is great - the pan fried sole is really yummy. And though... More
